Just don’t know if No. 4 Segway can clear No. 1 Tiz Dynamic who has been working lights out, if he does the race will be over. If not either No. 2 Jules Journey or No. 6 Willyconker will run them both down.

Race 3

Just love the four 7 furlong works the trainer Karen Headley put into No. 1 Circle the Moon who gets Mike Smith to ride. No. 4 Valley Cat gets his first start off the win and the Jerry Hollendorfer claim. This 7yo gelding has never been off the board here in five starts owning three wins. No. 7 Planet Sunshine gets his first start off the win and the Ted West claim, he has never been off the board here in his four starts. 1-4-7

Race 4

$75k maidens going down the hill. If No. 5 Green Tag can run back to his race here on March 14th when a close second going down the hill, he can win. No. 6 Distant Asset is a first time starter who has a very good 5 furlong work here on the 2nd and he gets a big break in the weights with the bug boy Van Dyke riding. 5-6

Race 5

$20k maiden claimers go 6 furlongs. No. 2 Time for a J was last seen running against the likes of Tamarando last July at Del Mar. He gets Fernando Perez in the irons for his comebacker and the price will be right. No. 5 Cut to Run drops into a maiden claimer for the first time after running his first two races down the hill with straight maidens. 2-5

Race 6

No. 1 Le Fascinator couldn’t handle $50k runners and is dropped down to run in this $25k claimer going down the hill a distance she just missed at one race back with better. No. 3 Heat Du Jour will find a fast early pace to make her late run and she owns a win going down the hill. 1-3

Race 7

THE GRADE III LAZARO BARRERA 

No. 2 Tonito M. has been working good for his first try in the states. He won six of his seven starts in his native Puerto Rico with one second by a neck, he could be this good. No. 3 Kobe’s Back never did make it to the Kentucky Derby but is a perfect fit at this 7 furlong distance. No. 1 Ferocious has done little wrong in his three lifetime starts, he won his last at this distance and will be right there till the end. 1-2-3

Race 8

They go down the hill and No. 1 Sweet Boss gets a major jockey upgrade as Mike Smith gets on for his buddy John Shirreffs. She will be making a big late run, we will single in the picks. 1

Win and place 1

Race 9

Jockey Kent Desormeaux tries to get a foot hold in Southern California once again and he gets on No. 1 Southern Sunshine off the layoff for trainer Peter Miller, we know he will be trying hard. Mike Smith gets on comebacker No. 7 See Through for trainer David Hofmans who has put some solid works into this 3yo filly. No. 9 Point Endurance is out of the dam Rita Rucker who has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters including a stakes winner, she is live with Tyler riding. No. 11 Enchanted Fortune had a tough trip in her one and only when well bet, she will go better today and looks the one to beat. 1-7-9-11

GOLDEN GATE

Race 1

No. 2 Cahill Chrome is the hunch play of the day in a race that no one can win. 2

Race 2

No. 1 Atomic Rule is the speed of the speed, he was third on the line when beaten by a neck by No. 5 Hurricane Lake and No. 6 Welcome Home Ryan. 1-5-6

Race 3

No. 2 Miss Cotuit is a first time starter out of the mare Golden Honor (Mr. Prospector) who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters. Trainer Peter Miller brings in No. 4 Amy Jane, she is very fast and looks ready to run off the layoff. Hollendorfer puts his buddy Russell on No. 7 My Lady’s Holiday who gets her second off the layoff. 2-4-7

Race 4

No. 3 Tim’s Go Girl gets her first start off the John Martin claim, he takes her off the grass and sends her back to a sprint and puts Baze in the irons. This hook up of Baze riding for Martin has won four out of the last six times. No. 6 Reflected Love gets a huge drop in class and makes her first start on a synthetic surface. 3-6

Race 5

This is scheduled to go a mile on the grass. No. 3 Cant Do the Danse has finished second in four straight races and now will try the grass, he will love it! 3

Race 6

This is one bad $8k maiden claimer. No. 1 El Anejo and No. 8 Peppered Sky both drop and could improve, after them flip a coin. 1-8

Race 7

THE $50K GOLDEN POPPY 1-1/16 ON THE GRASS

No. 5 Halo Dolly is one very tough 6yo mare who has won 4 of her 7 starts here on this turf course, she is on a win every other race pattern and this is her win race. No. 8 Playful Humor had a nice prep off the layoff for this and she will fire a big shot today. The price play in here is No. 7 Koby Jo who gets back on the grass, the last time she ran long on the grass was October of 2012 when a trouble 4th in the Miss America stakes here when running against Halo Dolly. 5-7-8

No. 6 Global Rule has chewed up some serious cash in her last two starts finishing second at even money and 9/5. No. 5 Heads I Win is a first time starter that could be live for good connections and her price will be right. 5-6

Race 9

In this mile turf race No. 4 Sunflare drops in class and has won on this turf course. No. 7 An App for Abbie is a two time winner on this turf course and this trainer hits at around 38% second off the claim. No. 8 Marmaris gets back on the grass and will go better. 4-7-8
