Race 3

No. 2 Sudden Rumor gets off the grass and drops into a maiden claimer for the first-time, he will get a good early pace going this mile on the dirt and should get the job done today. 2

Race 4

Elvis gets on second-time starter No. 1 Denotation who took some action first out, she showed good early speed but tired last, he will be gunning from the bell and she will try and carry her speed a flat mile, No. 2 Shapely ran a good one last time out when sent off the 7/5 chalk going 1-1/16, bet her to cash. No. 5 Grazenette gets her second off the layoff, she will be right there. 1-2-5

Race 5

Maidens go down the hill, No. 3 Taelyns Prince ran some good races as a 2yo, he will be faster today making his 3yo debut, No. 5 Robert E. Lee exits our HTW list off a better than looked effort going down the hill in his last start. No. 8 Clickjab is a first-time starter who is bred to turf and Mike Smith gets the call, he has the perfect post. 3-5-8

You just don’t see many Bob Baffert first-time starters at this 20k level but No. 1 Ina Mina fits the bill, No. 2 Nonna Reese and No. 3 Betty Bing Bing have had their chances but this is one soft group of 20k maiden claimers. 1-2-3

Race 7

THE 75K MIZDIRECTION GOING 6-1/2 FURLONGS ON THE GRASS

No. 2 Biorhythm is the speed and will pop the gate and try and take them wire-to-wire, she is on a beautiful win every other race pattern and this is her win race, No. 5 Llandudno finished a fast closing second by a head in her last going down the hill. The last time Kent Desormeaux rode No. 7 Ciao Bella Luna he got the win, he is back on today. 2-5-7

Race 8

No. 8 Warren’s Casper just got up for the win last time out when breaking his maiden, he will get a very fast early pace today and could pop at a huge price, No. 1 Tiz Futurity has one win in 26 starts but finds a nice pace scenario today. 1-8

Race 9

No. 7 Moulin De Mougin gets Gary Stevens back and the one time he rode this filly he got the win, No. 8 My Lil Shamrock has good early speed and that will play well in this somewhat paceless race down the hill. No. 10 Lady Asano gets Elvis riding for Sadler, this filly is very live. 7-8-10

This is a two horse race with No. 1 Impressa Vanessa perfectly spotted after the maiden breaker and No. 5 Rambunchkie the speed. 1-5

Race 3

No. 4 Tale Me No Secrets finds his way West and lands in the barn of Jerry Hollendorfer, No. 5 Saint Lemone gets her first try on the grass and should like it as does the English Channel filly No. 6 English Kitty. 4-5-6

Race 4

No. 1 Catsnotnapping lost by a neck in his last start when Baze got on, he is back today, No. 4 Toosmartbyhalf lost the head bob in his last start and may be the speed of the speed. 1-4

Race 5

We get a rare 5 furlong turf sprint, No. 3 Mandala gets back to a sprint and has a big last work for this, No. 5 Grumpy Small Mouth won at this distance on the grass at Del Mar. No. 6 Wildcat Moon will be the one to catch. 3-5-6

Let’s go red in this race using No. 4 Go On Red the speed and No. 5 Dark Red who drops and gets off the grass, he will be coming late. 4-5

Race 7

No. 5 Coastal Breeze comes in from Santa Anita, he gets his second off the layoff and has a good last work, No. 6 Sandor is an old pro who always gives his best. 5-6

Race 8

No. 2 Preacher’s Bluff is riding a two race win streak, No. 3 Atta Boy Pete gets a huge drop in class and would have won by many back when against these, if he is 90% he can win. 2-3

Another 5 furlong turf race, No. 2 Jackson Road has good early speed and is bred for the grass, No. 6 Redistribute just ran a bang up second going down the hill at Santa Anita against tougher, he is the won to beat. 2-6
