No. 2 Bench Light gets the big move back up the ladder first off the O’Neill claim, Elvis Trujillo rides and he has two wins and a second from his four rides for this barn, Mike Smith gets on No. 4 Hog’s Hollow who gets back to the level of his last win. The focused Kent Desormeaux gets on No. 5 Swift Eagle who is in top form. 2-4-5

No. 1 Solid Wager exits our HTW list off a troubled trip going down the hill, he gets on the dirt for the first-time and a low level jockey gets the call so the price will go up, Mike Smith gets on No. 4 Whine for Wine, this gelding had a sparkling 6 furlong work here on the 22nd and will get a good early pace to make his last run, all systems are on go! No. 9 Public Policy is another that sports a very good last work, he comes off the layoff and there are no California Chromes in this race, he will love getting back to a sprint. 1-4-9

No. 2 Hanna No Sir exits our HTW list, she is very fast and will try and take these wire-to-wire in this her second off the layoff, No. 3 Mayie will sit and try and make one late run. No. 11 Think Again is a very sneaky first-time starter for connections who can fire first out and we always think again when we see Iggy riding for Aguirre especially on a firster. 2-3-11

After breaking his maiden in start number 12 No. 1 Heat Flash came right back to score again and is once again a good fit with these, No. 2 Schoolofhardrocks almost got there going down the hill in his first grass attempt, he will now try and go 1-1/8 on the green, his breeding says can do and that last work keeps him on edge. No. 3 Sizzlin’ Joe is a perfect 2 for 2 at this distance on the grass. If dropper No. 9 Monastic can clear early he could get very brave on the front end. 1-2-3-9

Race 5

No. 3 Margie’s Minute is a Hard Spun 3yo filly out of the dam Halo Miss America who has dropped 6 winners from 6 starters, No. 4 Sunset Strip is another Hard Spun 3yo filly who comes off the layoff for Baffert and that race she exits last year at Del Mar was a key race, this filly is ready to run huge. No. 5 Alexis Tangier ran good in her one and only start back in April, Mike Smith rides for papa Mandella. 3-4-5

50k maiden fillies and mares go a mile on the grass, No. 5 Scene Queen exits our HTW list off a good second here last out at this mile turf distance, she has two good works since and looks to be sitting on the win, No. 6 Woodys Wharf is by the good turf sire English Channel, she was a disappointment at three but comes back at four and gets a drop into the claiming ranks for the first-time and the real good turf jock Kent D gets the call for the hot O’Neill barn, she could be a player at a price. 5-6

THE GRADE II 200K CALIFORNIAN

No. 2 Fury Kapcori has become a real tiger for Hollendorfer winning four straight races this year and he is still working a hole in the wind, bet him to cash. 2

Race 8

THE GRADE 1 AMERCAN OAKS

3yo fillies go 1-1/4 on the grass in the American Oaks, trainer Chad Brown brings in No. 3 Little Journey along with jockey Joe Bravo, this filly gets her second start as a 3yo, she lost by a neck at this turf distance in France, trainer Wayne Catalano brings in the classy No. 8 Room Service fresh off of her Grade 1 win in the Ashland at Keeneland and jockey Shaun Bridgmohan comes in for the ride, she will be launching from far back. 3-8

Race 9

After back-to-back graded races we get 8k claimers going 6 furlongs, Bill Spawr sends out No. 5 Lovmeister off a good win despite trouble, No. 6 Newfound Gold takes a suspicious drop off the claim but is a must use. No. 10 Carbonite won his last but continues his downward spiral. 5-6-10

GOLDEN GATE

Race 1

This 8k maiden race for fillies and mares is so bad we have decided to move on. PASS

Race 2

No. 5 El Gran Matador drops back to a level that makes him dangerous from off the pace, No. 6 Step On the Gas drops trying to find his level, Baze sticks and will be overbet but can win. 5-6

Race 3

No. 4 Evasive Charmer is in top form and gets her first start off the win and the Martin claim, No. 5 potentiality also comes off the win and she makes her first start off the Vallejo claim and the hot riding Juan Hernandez sticks. 4-5

Race 4

No. 3 Lookout Scout gets the big jockey change to Russell the muscle and that should get this 5yo gelding home today. 3

Race 5

No. 1 Lady’s Plan gets the big jockey switch to Baze, No. 2 Tiz Partners will go much better today with Juan Hernandez getting back on board. 1-2

Race 6

No. 2 Finding Forestry is just another very live Baze runner that will be overbet, No. 3 Kuuipo exits the same race and was just a head behind Finding Forestry. 2-3

Race 7

No. 6 Reno Rebel is in from Santa Anita and will try the grass for the first-time, being by Big Brown he will like it, No. 8 Blackford is in top form and looks the one to beat. 6-8

Race 8

In this 8k maiden claimer for 3yo fillies No. 1 Luvmocha drops in class and this trainer does well with this double drop hitting at around .35%, No. 2 Behrly Tricky drops from straight maidens and her trainer hits at .40% with the move. 1-2

Race 9

We get 20k maidens traveling 1-1/16 on the grass, No. 5 Myaggieisawildcat comes off the layoff for a good barn and may be live in this spot, she debuted last August in a 5 furlong turf sprint and just lost by 3/4 of a length, No. 10 Tricky Journey will try and take them wire-to-wire. 5-10
