No. 1 Zanbo has found a real soft group of 40k claimers in this 1 1/16 turf route, this is hers to lose, No. 3 Miss Ellany looks the main danger on the front end. 1-3

Race 3

In this 30k maiden claimer going a flat mile No. 4 Empire Cat gets the ice cold Bejarano in the irons, he is due to heat up and this 2yo gelding will need to sit off of the hot pace and make one run down the lane. 4

Race 4

No. 1 Nighttiming is very consistent and ran good on this turf course back in August, No. 4 Cravin’ the Heat gets Mike Smith in what is an interesting jockey switch. No. 7 Lethal Story is a deep closer and will be putting in a big late run as Nakatani who was on the Heat the last two times opts for her. 1-4-7

Race 5

No. 3 Tribal Dude likes this track and is the one to beat, No. 5 Moonlit Meteor gets a big jock switch to Elvis, a big drop in class and a turn back in distance, they go all out for the win. 3-5

Race 6

No. 5 My Samurai Warrior changed his style last time out when going wire-to-wire, he can go either way today, No. 6 Whine for Wine can one go one way and that is sit back and make one run. No. 7 El Nino Terrible will try and hit the front and go wire-to-wire. 5-6-7

Race 7

They go 5 furlongs on the grass, usually a horse that is just 2 for 39 is an automatic toss for me but No. 1 Hanserella is a must use, No. 4 Dancinthenightaway looked good breaking her maiden at first asking at Santa Anita, she will handle the grass. 1-4

Race 8

As they keep with the Hollywood frame of mind here at Del Mar they go in the 100k Cary Grant, No. 3 Patriots Rule will be motoring late once again and was gaining on the undefeated No. 4 Red Outlaw the last time they met, the Red Outlaw is looking for his 7th straight win. No. 6 Big Macher tried the best in the BC sprint and now gets some class relief, he will be close from the bell. 3-4-6

No. 5 Jomelo exits our HTW list off a big win on the grass last out, we love his chances right back, No. 7 Craving Carats was caught by Jomelo the last time they met and had to settle for second. No. 9 Sizzlin’ Joe also exits that race, he finished 3rd. 5**-7-9

Trainer Dan Blacker who put one over at Del Mar on Thursday sends out No. 1 Street Car with Juan Hernandez riding , No. 7 Preacher’s Bluff is the main danger with the drop to this level. 1-7

Maiden 2yo fillies go a mile on the grass, Jerry Hollendorfer has two set to go, the one we like is No. 5 Star Via Strada who will take to the longer distance and the hot riding Ricardo Gonzalez gets the call. 5

No. 2 Tim’s Go Girl comes off a nice win in his last here and can handle the little rise in class, No. 3 Special Summer will go better with the drop to this level. 2-3

Race 6

No. 1 I Keep Saying is in from Emerald Downs and looks the speed of the speed, if he can clear early he will be hard to run down, No. 5 Tiz Point has won 6 of 12 here and will be the one that will be trying to run down Keep Saying. 1-5

Race 7

No. 2 High Test comes back to town and he won his last two starts here, No. 4 Photo Shopped gets the drop in this his second off the Martin claim, he looks to cut his losses. No. 7 Soldiers Point loves this 5-1/2 furlong distance with two wins and a second from three starts including his last here which was a win at this level. 2-4-7

Race 8

No. 5 Cant Do the Danse will be on or very close to the pace in this mile turf race, he will try and turn the tables on No. 7 Ranger Marini who beat him the last time they met. 5-7

Race 9

Lots off early speed in this 6 furlong sprint, No. 8 Del Siete Leguas gets a move up the class ladder, he will sit back and make one run at what will be a good price. 8
