Race 1

This is one very soft group of $12,500 claimers and it comes down to just two that look to have any shot at finding the winners circle. No. 4 Deer Decarchy who has a win and a second here from two starts and No. 5 Anillo who has been looking for a spot. 4-5

Race 2

Van Dyke gets on dropper No. 1 Warren’s Casper who will be making a late run for a piece. No. 5 Craving Carats won his last start at this $8k level at Del Mar but he has never won on the dirt but he is a must use at this level. No. 6 Nextdoorneighbor a back classer has found new life as a 7yo gelding at this level and he can handle dirt. 1-5-6

Race 3

Talk about bad $30k maiden claimers well it just don’t get much worse than this race and with a clear mind you really need to hit the all button but we will take our shot with No. 2 Tizn’t who ran a very good race going this mile distance here on the 7th, we will single in the players pick five. 2

Race 4

No. 4 Siberian’s Rule will be a nice price play in this race, he gets off the grass and gets a turn back in distance. He has a nice last work and looks ready for a big effort, No. 8 Rolo Tamaci took action in his one start going down the hill at Santa Anita back in March when he showed good early speed, he took time off after that effort but has been working good and may try and take these wire-to-wire. 4-8

Race 5

No. 1 American Pride is a perfect 2-for-2 on dirt and now will try and go 1-1/16. No. 5 Baccelo will try dirt for a sneaky good trainer who has him fit and the price could be right. No. 6 Prime Issue has won 8 of his 22 starts including 3 for 7 on dirt, he is in tip top form. 1-5-6

Race 7

In this race Baffert sends out No. 5 Sweet Marini who won here at odds on in her last race on the 11th, she will be short again. No. 6 Be Proud did not like the wet track last out vs much tougher, she gets some class relief. No. 7 Free Money will like the move back to a sprint. 5-6-7

Race 8

This race could only attract five runners for a half a million bucks? This looks like a cold two horse race between two trainers who started on this quarter horse circuit.
