No. 4 Popalicious ran a better than looked 3rd here on the 6th, has a bullet work since and gets a break in the weights with Van Dyke getting the leg up today. No. 5 Hit Girl could wake up in this her second start at the meet. 4-5

No. 2 Stoney Fleece who owns two wins on this course, gets off the grass and will go a better distance. He will find a fast early pace and could pop late with a good trip at a price. 2

No. 2 King Ptolemy get his second start for Baffert, he sends this filly a mile and puts Bejarano in the irons. No. 3 Constantine gets his second start here and is the stablemate of the King, Garcia who rode the King last out moves to Constantine. No. 4 Nowalking moves to the barn of Phil D’Amato who puts the hot riding Mike Smith up and this one moves from the grass to the poly. No. 6 Noble Bird just missed here on the 3rd when tagged on the line. 2-3-4-6

No. 2 Woodys Wharf gets a big drop in class and just may take to the poly. No. 6 Sheza Eyeopener just missed here on the 14th. No. 9 Always an Angel ran right behind her and now gets her first start off the Peter Miller claim and Tyler gets on board. 2-6-9

No. 3 Znelle comes off the layoff for Sadler, he ran his best race here last year and that race would be good enough to win this. No. 10 Dust in Zahn is a first time starter for trainer D’Amato, he is out of the dam Fort Silver who has dropped 11 winners from 11 starters including 5 stakes winners. 3-10

The hot combo of Kent D and Bob Hess hook up on the Arlington shipper No. 5 Enduring Erin. Mike Smith gets on the other Arlington shipper No. 7 Carrick Bay for Vann Belvoir, this one is very live. No. 8 George’s Peach just missed here last out on this grass course when shipping in from Arlington, we will make this an all Chicago race. 5-7-8

Race 7

No. 2 Noise of the Crowd is a ten time winner, she gets off the grass and back to a sprint. No. 10 Only Josie Knows has hit the board in four of her five starts here. She will get a fast early pace to make her late run as will No. 11 J and S Express. 2-10-11

No. 8 Deputy Heat could wake up with the drop in class as will No. 12 Next Book who is the one to beat.

Race 1

We start our 7 race card with a $3,200 claimer a race that anyone can win. No. 1 Mingo is the speed on the rail. No. 2 Two Bucks to Win has no wins from 10 starts here but does have a good last work and No. 3 Two Parts gets Hernandez. 1-2-3

Race 2

Another $3,200 claimer. No. 1 Deep Reflection has hit the board in 20 of his 35 starts here. No. 4 Matthew L is the speed of the speed. No. 6 Jaylo Marino has won 9 times on this course and 3 at the distance. 1-4-6

Race 3 

We stay with the $3,200 claimers in here. No. 1 Darcurts Hope has a bullet work here on the 17th for this. Baze gets on No. 2 Catsnotnapping and the last time he won was when Baze rode him. 1-2

Race 4

$12,500 maiden claimers. Baze jumps on first time starter No. 3 Techwood. No. 4 Here Comes the Sun is in from Del Mar and gets off the grass, moves to a sprint and gets the big drop in class. No. 5 Vista Rides Tall is the other live first timer in here. 3-4-5

Race 5

No. 2 Saint Lemone is in good form for this $12,500 level and 6 furlongs is her game. No. 5 Ongoing Appeal is perfectly spotted off the big maiden win. 2-5

They go a mile on the grass. No. 4 Sheza Trip comes off a good win on the Santa Rosa grass, she has two wins on this grass course. No. 5 Loveintheshadows is on a win every other race pattern and this is her win race, she owns four wins on this course. No. 6 Siberian Winter ran right behind Sheza Trip last time out and now gets Baze as she tries to turn the tables. 4-5-6

The day at the Gate ends with $12,500 maiden 2yo traveling 5 furlongs, watch the betting or just hit the all button, we will do an elpaso!
