No. 6 Birthday Song showed some good early speed in the first start and now gets Tyler in the irons, he will be gunning from the bell. No. 7 Beach Premier exits the same race as Birthday Song, she was a closing second. 3-6-7

No. 6 He’s On His Toes ran good in his start here on the 10th, he gets blinkers on today. Bejarano who was on He’s On His Toes last time opts for No. 7 Turnover for Baffert and this gelding has been working a hole in the wind. 6-7

THE $90K HARRY F. BRUBAKER

No. 1 Blue Tone comes off a nice win here on the poly at this mile distance. No. 6 Safety Belt gets off the grass and will try the poly for the first time, his last work says yes. 1-6

Race 4

No. 4 Sunny Kat looked good breaking his maiden on this turf course last out, he looks to have gotten into the game. No. 7 Footstepsinbronze just did get beat on the last jump by a nostril here in his last start and the one who beat him came right back to score again. No. 9 I’vegotafeeling is footsteps stablemate, he is in from Ireland and gets Mike Smith up. 4-7-9

Race 5

No. 1 Lemon de Oro exits our HTW list, she was flying late but had to be steadied and lost by a 1/2 length in a race she was best. No. 3 Sam’s Sister won at first asking for Hollendorfer beating 11 runners. The filly that finished second that day came back and won next out, she has some good works since the win. She will meet other speed in the race and that makes us single the Lemon de Oro. 1

No. 1 Call to Congrats gets Bejarano for this her second start, he last work has her on go. No. 6 Bennett Jean exits our Santa Anita HTW list, we have been waiting for her return. She ran a bang up second in her first start more than 7 lengths clear of the rest. No. 8 Conquest Archangel also exits our HTW list off a solid try here, she will be part of the early pace. 1-6-8

No. 4 Tigah is wheeled back in just six days after trying Grade II company in the Del Mar mile. No. 1 Mambo Man could wake up in this his second off the layoff. 1-4

Race 8

No. 4 Koukla ran big on the synthetic surface at Hollywood Park and now will try the poly off the layoff. No. 6 Belle of the Fleet’s two best races came here on the poly. 4-6

Race 9

THE GRADE I DEL MAR DEBUTANTE FOR $300K

Bob Baffert who has not had a good meet but will have a great meet when they get back to the Santa Anita dirt sends out No. 3 Starlet O’Hara who won for fun drawing away in her start here on July 27th, she finds a field loaded with early speed and Mr. B has her cranked for the win. Wesley Ward who wins with his 2yo everywhere sends out No. 5 Sunset Glow how won the Grade II Sorrento here on the 6th, he last work was a pip. Mark Casse sends out No. 8 Conquest Eclipse who broke her maiden at Churchill Downs, she could be this good. 3-5-8

Race 10

Kent D and his cousin Keith D hook up once again on No. 1 Stellar Act who will go long in this his second start off a solid second here first out. No. 4 Seve’s Road ran a nice even race going this mile turf distance last out and now will try the poly. No. 6 Selection will appreciate the longer distance today and the good hook up of Van Dyke and Proctor makes this one a must use. No. 9 Gem Twist is a first time starter out of the dam Tortuga Lady who has dropped 7 winners from 7 starters including 2 stakes winners, he has a nice four furlong work for this his first start. 1-4-6-9

Race 11

No. 1 Harness Mentality comes off the layoff, gets off the grass and gets Avila’s go to rider. No. 2 Brazilian Court looks the one to beat. 1-2

Race 1

No. 5 Whilly Pink looks the speed of the speed. No. 1 Warren’s Tyler S will try and run Whilly down.

No. 2 Hawk’s Glen has some good early speed and that last work says he is on go. No. 1 Boston Charley could be the danger off the layoff. 1-2

Race 3

Little early speed in this mile turf race. Hernandez gets on No. 3 Runfasterelse who loves to win races. No. 5 Rathbaun is a perfect fit with these. 3-5

Race 4

No. 6 Papa’s Trashed drops to a level where he can get back on the win end, he has good early speed or can track. 6

Race 5

No. 5 Curly Boy drops to his lowest level looking to regain his form, after him this one is very wide open.

Race 6

$20k claimers go one mile on the grass and this race is set up for someone off the hot pace. No. 2 What Goes Around gets Alvarado back in the irons and the last two times he rode this gelding he got the win and one of those came on the grass. Baze gets on No. 6 Mighty Marino and the last time he rode this gray he won with him, he has two wins and two second on this grass course from four starts. 2-6

Race 7

If No. 2 Indian Rocket can transfer her Santa Rosa dirt effort to the synthetic surface she will be tough to beat. First time starter No. 3 Deb’s Wildcard gets the hot riding Ricardo Gonzalez and some real good works. Baze sticks with second time starter No. 4 Her Again who finished second in her first race at Santa Rosa. 2-3-4

Race 8

No. 8 Mi Reinita ships in form Del Mar and moves to the barn of Steve Sherman, drops in class and goes long on the grass. She is up for a big race.8

Race 9

No. 9 Began Again exits a good race at Santa Rosa where he ran second, he one who beat him came right back to win next out, this one will be a very short price but a solid single in the picks. 9
