No. 1 J and S Express comes off a little layoff for trainer Belvoir who has three wins at the meet, the hard trying Fernando Perez gets the call and this 7yo mare finds little to beat, No. 5 Spring Gal and No. 6 Small Moves will be motoring from the bell. 1-5-6

Race 2

Fillies and mares go 5 furlongs on the poly, No. 1 Satirical gets her second start off the layoff and gets the blinkers on today, No. 4 Brilliant Melody comes to town and gets Bejarano riding for Ed Moger Jr. No. 7 Rovenna gets a major drop in class. 1-4-7

Race 3

No. 1 Wild Heart Run blasted home to win here on July 25th and now gets the big move up first off the Palma claim, No. 3 Oh Deann won here at first asking for a 50k price tag and trainer O’Neill claimed her for the 50k, new daddy Tyler gets the call. No. 4 Champion Risk won here at first asking for 50k price tag and she gets her first start off the Tim Yakteen claim and Mike Smith gets on this 2yo filly. 1-3-4

8k fillies and mares go a flat mile on the poly, No. 6 Magic Number gets a little drop in class and will improve off her 5th place finish here on July 20th and Nakatani gets the call, high percentage trainer Andy Mathis who has won with two of his four runners here at the meet sends out No. 10 Cayanna who won going a mile on the Golden Gate synthetic surface, Bejarano gets on this 6yo mare. 6-10

Maidens go a mile on the poly, No. 3 Prospector Alley gets his seventh start but that last bullet work here says he is on go, No. 7 Beach Fever also has a real nice last work and looks to be coming around for trainer Glatt. No. 9 Missing Groom gets off the grass and will wake back up in this spot. 3-7-9

Race 6

No. 5 Moving Desert comes off the layoff for trainer Blake Heap, this filly hit the board here in all three of her starts last year, she looks ready to run, No. 6 Midnight Lady ran first and second in her two starts here last year. No. 7 Little But Lucky may take to the poly. 5-6-7

THE GRADE II SORRENTO FOR 2YO FILLIES 

Top 2yo trainer Wesley Ward thought enough of No. 2 Sunset Glow to take her across the pond and run in the Grade III Albany at Ascot, she finished second in a field of 21, she worked a bullet here on July 30th, bet her to cash. 2

No. 3 Spirit of Ten has a fantastic last work since her third place finish here on July 17th, look for much better today, No. 9 Full of Spice exits the same race and is the speed. No. 10 Windy Starlite gets off the grass and sprinting for the first-time and she gets the drop from straight maiden to this 20k maiden claimer. 3-9-10

Race 3

No. 2 Ongoing Appeal gets her first start off the claim and Baze sticks, No. 3 Raja’s Rose gets the drop in class. 2-3

Race 4

No. 1 Langston showed a new run style last out when taking them wire-to-wire on the Pleasanton dirt, No. 4 Shadow Ball is the one to beat from off the pace, the little drop makes him odds on. 1-4

Race 5

They travel 1-1/16 on the grass, No. 4 Colonel Mustard owns a win on this turf course as does No. 5 Captain Hadley. 4-5

No. 2 Win Photos Will Do will do for us in this race at 5/1.

No. 1 Hidethegoodstuff has run ok sprinting on the grass with better, No. 5 Implicated is her stablemate and comes off a big maiden breaker. No. 4 Paris in April loves to win races and ran second on the grass here at this distance. 1-4-5

No. 1 Secret Memo lost by a nostril in her last race on the Sacramento dirt, No. 3 Rambunchkie has big early speed. 1-3
