2yo $50k maiden fillies go 6 furlongs, Kent D and Bob Hess Jr. have been doing great together and Hess sends out first time starter No. 2 Easter Fever with Kent D riding. The very sneaky Avila sends out first time starter No. 7 Where Is My Mind who looks like a runner. 2-7

Race 2

Trainer Jeff Metz who has sent out one runner at the meet and won, sends out No. 1 Among the Stars fist off the claim. No. 5 Slewbie Doo is a very sneaky looking Emerald Downs shipper. No. 6 She’s Flush won here on July 20th and is well spotted. 1-5-6

Race 3

2yo $80k maiden claimers go 6 furlongs. No. 4 Domingo Cat is one of two in here for Doug O’Neill, he is a first time starter with Van Dyke, his other runner is No. 2 John’s Success who has a race. No. 7 Verraco drops and gets a huge jockey switch to Mike Smith and a nice last work on July 28th. 2-4-7

Race 4

No. 4 Easy Topper won here last year and now gets the needed drop in class and looks to wake up, that last works signals he is on go. No. 6 Noble Metal lost by a dwindling neck here on July 26th and now gets a little drop in class, he will be very hard to beat. 4-6

Race 5

No. 3 Wildling is a first time starter for Hollendorfer now hits at around 40% with his first time maiden claiming starters and the fact the Bejarano gets on says this 2yo is live. 3

Race 6

With no grass racing No. 5 Causeithertz moves to the poly and this 7yo gelding just may take to it, he worked good on it on July 26th. No. 6 Tribal Jewel is 2-for-3 at this mile distance and looks the one to beat. 5-6

No. 3 Living The Life is a classy looking filly in from over the pond. No. 1 Heat Trap always gives her best and did run second on this poly course last year. 1-3

Race 8

When Kent D sticks around for the last race look out and he is on No. 2 Warrior’s Ridge a 9 time loser, but the drop to this level and them move to the poly could be the answer. No. 4 Expo and Fig comes off the layoff but sports a bullet work on July 31st when best of 59, he looks ready to run. No. 10 It Is Living Water drops into a maiden claimer and takes his first try on the poly, his last two works say yes. 2-4-10

Race 3

Lots of grass racing at Santa Rosa. No. 3 Reflected Love has speed and is proven on the grass, the same can be said about No. 4 Aninata. 3-4

Race 4

No. 2 Highly Cynical is always around and will be right there again today. No. 6 Single Launch is the main concern for Cynical. 2-6

Race 5

No. 2 Salah Champ is as steady as they come finishing first or second in her last six starts. No. 4 Eagle Screams loves the wine country as he has won both of his turf starts here. 2-4

Race 6

This is a very wide open $12,500 2yo maiden claimer. No. 4 Schooner is by the .40% sire Southern Africa. No. 5 Top Odds is out of a dam that has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters and his sire hits at .32%. No. 6 Impossible Timing is out of the dam Smart Timing who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters including a stakes winner. 4-5-6

Race 7

They go a mile on the grass. No. 3 Big Swag gets his first start off the Martin claim and a nice jockey upgrade. No. 7 Blue Line Cat always runs a good one but just doesn’t like to win. 3-7

Race 8

Trainer Tim McCanna has won with 2 of his 4 starters at the meet and he sends out first time starter No. 1 Catzanova. Baze gets on No. 3 Okaad for Jeff Bonde and those are the two. 1-3
