SANTA ANITA

Race 1

No. 6 Tilted Nobility is a very interesting play, he gets his first start for new trainer Jonathan Wong who brings him in form Golden Gate. My question is why does Bejarano ride? We will be taking no chances as he will be our play.

Race 2

No. 2 Prettypreciousheir exits a key race and gets the drop into a maiden claimer for this her third start. No. 3 Crystal Harbor is a first time starter out of the dam Northglen who has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters, she looks live. No. 6 Queen Cactus ran big for $50k and now drops in with $40k maiden claimers.

2-3-6

Race 3

If able watch the tote in this race. No. 2 Itz Wonderful is a first time starter for trainer Mike Puype, she finds little to beat. No. 3 Alpha Doll is her stablemate and she was last seen finished second at Calder back in 2013 as a 2yo, she comes back in this spot and draws the services of BejaraNo.  2-3

Race 4

There will be a hot early pace in this mile race for $16k claimers and we will go looking for someone to come late. No. 1 Half Strike gets his second start off the layoff and looks to be sitting on a good effort, he will sit chilly down on the inside and pounce turning for home. No. 6 Bluegrass Reward is in top form and will sit right off the pace and try and get the jump turning for home. 1-6

Race 5

This is one tough mile turf race for maidens 4yo and up. Kent D gets on No. 1 King of Jazz who exits a good race, Kent is one of the best turf jocks around. No. 8 Winning Causeway ran an even race in his first start and it was at this mile turf distance, he will be the price play. That last 7 furlong work put into him by Papa Mandella has him ready to fire a big shot. 1-8

Exacta box 1-8 and win and place 8

Race 6

No. 6 Zuzu’s Petals has hit the board in all seven of her starts. No. 9 Lets Get Frisky has hit the board here in all three of her starts, she will find a good pace up front to make her last run. 6-9

Race 7

No. 4 Talco scratched last weekend for this much easier spot. No. 6 Boozer stretches out and looks to have a pace advantage, if able to clear early he will be gone. 4-6

Race 8

No. 5 Starzilla woke up when dropped to this $20k level in his last two starts, he is the speed. No. 9 Majestic Charlie also woke up at this level and he was right behind Starzilla last out. 5-9

GOLDEN GATE

Race 1

You just gotta have some faith this race as we will be using No. 2 Purims Faith coming off a nice win last out and No. 5 Faith Hope Love the filly she will try and run down. 2-5

Race 2

The ones that have run in this $20k maiden claimer just do not entice so we will go with the only first time starter No. 1 One Night Wonder who is out of the dam Kind Friends who has dropped 4 winners from four starters. 1

In the pick five we will use two speed fillies and a closer, the two with early speed are No. 5 Missdang Sally and No. 6 Lexie Arleen. No. 2 Power of Nine will try and run the down. 2-5-6

Race 5

No. 2 Superbowl Sally is a very live first time starter for Steve Sherman. No. 4 Tight Lines comes off the layoff for a top trainer. No. 8 Down the Fairway is the stablemate of Tight Lines. 2-4-8

No. 2 Tryphena is a first time starter for trainer Dan Blacker, she has been doing all of her work at Santa Anita and looks very sneaky. No. 3 Lucky Feelin drops big time in this her second start. 1-2-3
