No. 3 Fast Mast just won under these conditions at 56-1. No. 8 Fonz won last out when exiting our HTW list, he is in top form and the one to beat. 3-8

Race 2

No. 1 Fab Four Ever gets a big jockey change to Bejarano. No. 5 Satin Cinnamon drops in with maiden claimers and will wake up in this much easier spot. 1-5

Race 3

Jockey Bejarano has ridden No. 2 Sir Barclay four times and has 3 wins and a 3rd from those four rides, he gets back on today. Kent D who was on Sir Barclay last time out gets on No. 3 Harbaugh third off the layoff, this colt drops in class and gets off the grass and a turn back to a sprint. No. 7 Celtic Moon come back quick off a nice win here, he will get a nice trip from this post with Elvis riding. 2-3-7

Race 4

No. 1 Kiss At Midnight has done little wrong in her two starts. No. 6 So Golden surprised first out of the box at 13-1 when mowing them down late, she will be making a late run again and will get a very fast early pace. 1-6

Race 5

In the prelude race to Saint Paddy’s day the run the $100k Irish O’Brien down the hill. No. 4 Go West Marie comes off an explosive win down the hill in her last start and Stevens is 2-for-2 riding this filly. No. 6 Velvet Mesquite owns 5 wins from 8 starts down the hill and she could set up a hall of fame run at the end with Mike Smith on Velvet and Gary Stevens on Marie. 4-6

Race 6

No. 1 Sidepocket Champ made a four wide run last time out looking like he had a big shot but hung down the lane. He drops in class and takes the blinkers off so maybe he can keep the move going today. No. 2 Coolington drops in this his second off the layoff, look for better today. 1-2

Race 7

In this downhill turf sprint No. 1 Forest Chatter is looking for the hat trick going down the hill. He comes off of 49 days on the shelf but his last work says go and Mike Smith opts for him over No. 3 Skylander who he rode the last two times going down the hill. Kent D gets on No. 3 Skylander for trainer Wesley Ward, this gelding has run second in his two starts here and both were down the hill, big race Mike may have made a mistake. No. 6 Fighter Squadron exits our HTW list and gets the move up in class off his big win down the hill last out, he has a bullet work since. No. 9 Corinthian’s Song also exits our HTW list, he gets his second start off the long layoff and second as a gelding. 1-3**-6-9

Race 8

THE GRADE I SANTA MARGARITA 

Trainer Todd Pletcher ships No. 3 Dame Dorothy here from Florida and catches a soft Grade I field, this filly will catch a superfast early pace and Bejarano will have her motoring down the lane. Mike Smith gets on No. 4 Thegirlinthatsong (Bejarano rode last time) she will also sit chilly behind the fast pace and try and get the jump on the Dame. No. 7 Warren’s Veneda is in top form and will also be running late for a piece of the pie. 3-4-7

Race 9

Maiden 3yo fillies go a flat mile on the grass. No. 4 Cool Moves ran huge on the Del Mar turf course in her first star, she moves into a new barn and could be live. No. 6 Show Stealer exits our HTW list, she was making a big late run last our and now gets Stevens riding for his buddy Tom Proctor, she is the filly to beat. No. 7 Oui Bear gets her first start off the $75K John Sadler claim, he puts her back on the grass and the good grass jockey Brice Blanc gets a rare ride for Sadler. No. 10 Zip N Bayou also exits our HTW list off of two runs down the hill, she has been crying out to go longer. 4-6-7-10

GOLDEN GATE

Race 1

Trainer Lloyd Mason has been heating up and he drops No. 2 Danz With K J looking for the win, we will single in the pick five. 2

Race 2

No. 3 Flash of Lightning looks to have found his mojo as he just missed by a neck last out at this level. No. 4 Mambo Rock finished a neck behind him. No. 6 My Discretion may like the stretchout. 3-4-6

Race 3

Mason sends out No. 6 Lucky Moment who finds little to beat in here, we will take another shot and single again. 6

Race 4

No. 4 Free Time will need to outbreak No. 2 Whilly Pink for the lead. If he does he will be gone and if not No. 6 Preacher’s Bluff will run them both down. 2-4-6

Race 5

No. 1 Sweet Boss shipped in and got the easy win last out. No. 2 Warrens Lil Margie finished right behind the Boss. No. 3 Tale Me No Secrets will be trying to run them down late. 1-2-3

Race 6

No. 5 Downtown C. T. will be out winging it on the front end playing catch me if you can. No. 1 Southern Freedom won his only race here on this surface and it was at this distance and level. 1-5

Race 7

Flavien Prat comes in with No. 1 Living The Life, the last time this mare was seen she was running in the BC fillie and mare sprint. She may have too much class for these. 1

Race 8

No. 2 True Character will be battling it out on the front end from the bell. No. 6 Mano a Mano exits the same race and he will be trying to run him down. No. 4 Lucky Does It won at first asking and he will also be making a late run. 2-4-6

Race 9

No. 1 Stormin Belle has been close in her last two and will get a cozy rail trip today. No. 8 Cochinero drops in with maiden claimers for this her third start, she has been well bet. 1-8
