If possible do some tote watching in this maiden race as only 1 of the 8 starters have run and he ran last October vs. the likes of Ocho Ocho Ocho, No. 7 Desert Dynamo went off at 9/5 vs. Ocho. Baffert sends out two runners in here and the one we prefer is No. 6 Jimbo Fallon who has a real nice 5 furlong work for this and is owned by his wife Natalie. 6-7

Race 3

No. 2 Cal McLish lost at 3/2 in his last start at this 30k level, Gryder gets his shot today, No. 3 Lucky Shoes to Win comes off the layoff for the ice cold Jeff Mullins but was well bet in his two starts on the dirt. No. 9 Bandido Too looks to be closing in on the maiden breaker and Bejarano gets his second try. 2-3-9

Race 4

Jockey Joe Steiner looking to get win No. 1,000 on No. 3 Socialized, she has a shot, No. 4 Katy Drama was a fast closing 3rd going down the hill last out in her first turf try, she goes a mile today. 3-4

Race 5

No. 3 Sensitively crushed them at first asking when sent off at 7/5, she looks this good, No. 4 Tara’s Tango won at first asking at Del Mar last July when sent off at 6/5, Mike Smith rode her that day and is back on today. No. 6 Enchanting Lady will appreciate the move back to a sprint. 3-4-6

Race 6

The one time No. 12 Incline Village won was when Joe Talamo rode him going down the hill last February, Joe is back on and this gelding finds a real soft spot and the price will be right. 12

No. 4 Matzoh Ball Magic never got untracked last time out, Arias gets back on today and we look for him to rebound at a big price, Joe Steiner gets on the big dropped comebacker No. 6 Smokin’ Ten who just could be live. 4-6

Race 8

Not much early speed in here and that bodes well for No. 3 Diamond Stilettos if she is able to clear early, No. 4 Elektrum beat Diamond Stilettos last out and may have been best in the race but was blocked, bet her to cash. No. 6 Keri Belle shipped in from the Big A looking for grass and won and is now 2 for 2 on the green. No. 8 Magic Spot is the other speed in the race. 3-4-6-8

Race 9

20k maiden fillies and mares go 7 furlongs, No. 2 Del Mar Dixie was well bet in her first start for a 50k price tag and now drops, Iggy gets the call on No. 5 Sweet Sense who gets her second start off the layoff and second at this level. Jockey Tiago Pereira gets the ride on first-time starter No. 7 Amberella and he has won both of his rides for this trainer. 2-5-7

Race 1

No. 2 Sky Forever is the speed and will take some catching, No. 4 Red Hot Rocket may be the one filly that can run her down. 2-4

Race 2

No. 2 Incredible Journey ships in looking for grass and gets Baze, No. 4 Irenes Jackpot has hit the board in all eight of her grass starts here. No. 6 Up the Alley is looking for her third straight win and first on the green. 2-4-6

Race 3

This is one ugly race, maybe No. 3 El Pinto can run down the speed, we will take our shot. 3

Race 4

No. 2 G. G. Ryder has won 3 of his 4 turf races here, No. 4 Quick and Silver is the speed and will try and take them wire-to-wire in this his first turf try here. No. 5 Pepper Crown has 3 wins and 3 seconds from his 6 turf runs here at the Gate. Pedro Terrero has been on No. 6 Toruk Makto for Hollendorfer 3 times getting 2 wins and a second. 2-4-5-6

Race 5

No. 2 Zip Baby has a win and two seconds from her three starts here, No. 6 Whyugottabesomean looks the speed on the stretchout. 2-6

Race 6

They go five furlongs on the grass, No. 3 Saint Mamie is bred for this and gets her first start off the claim for trainer Blaine Wright who hits at .43% first off the tag, No. 5 Fab Four Ever ships in off the maiden breaker at Santa Anita and has big early speed. 3-5

Race 7

Just like in the last race No. 7 Watch It Buster gets his first start off the Blaine Wright claim, he comes in from Santa Anita and looks the one to beat. 7

No. 2 Madiba a Candy Ride colt will love the grass, No. 5 Percy Fawcett is a Big Brown gelding looking for the hat trick in this his first turf start, he will like it. 2-5

Race 9

No. 2 The Gray Hound will wake up in this spot as he will get the right pace today, No. 5 Mojave Desert is in top form and the one to beat. 2-5
