No. 1 Surf N Ski is on a nice work pattern and the drop to this level makes him dangerous. No. 5 Nextdoorneighbor drops off the win but he was claimed for half this price and Peter Miller already has a nice profit. 1-5

Race 2

Early speed has been holding well on the grass course and No. 8 Los Bambinos may be able to set sail early, if so he could be gone. No. 6 Grachus the Hunter gets the hustling Felipe Valdez off the layoff and some good works. 6-8

Race 3

No. 7 Weekendwithbernie gets back on the dirt and back to the distance of his big maiden breaker. No. 8 Tester exits our HTW list off huge win off the layoff, if he doesn’t bounce he will be right there. 7-8

Race 4

Maiden fillies and mares go down the hill. No. 3 Loufoque was a fast closing 2nd in her one start down the hill and then was sent routing, she gets back to a sprint. No. 5 Boat Drinks has run three times and all three have been down the hill finishing second in all three, now Van Dyke gets his shot for the hot training Sadler. No. 6 Emyvale Court has run two times and both were down the hill and she finished second both times. No. 9 Lookinforadanger is the dangerous speed on the outside. 3-5-6-9

Race 5


They will be out winging it on the front end and if it really heats up the classy No. 4 Sahara Sky will run them all down. He comes off the layoff for Hollendorfer and draws the services of Bejarano. No. 5 San Onofre has been working bullets and can stand the heat up front, he has 4 wins and 2 seconds from his 6 starts. 4-5

Race 6

No. 10 Chutney has more to offer than his first race in which he was eliminated at the start, Stevens sticks and he will get a better trip from this post. No. 11 Ultimate Luck comes off the layoff for O’Neill and looks ready to roll. 10-11

Race 7

Baffert sends out two runners, the speedy No. 3 Ritzy Tags who gets Bejarano as M. Garcia who has been on this filly in all 7 of her starts opts for Baffert’s other runner No. 9 Party Rock who drops trying to cash. No. 8 Kiss At Midnight finds a good spot and she will be sitting chilly waiting to pounce down the lane. 


Race 8


Down the hill the go in the Las Cienegas. No. 6 Go West Marie won despite a horrible trip, she exits our HTW list and looks to win her fourth straight and third straight down the hill. No. 8 Heavens Stairway ran against Marie one race back but stumbled at the start losing any shot, Tyler Baze is on and he has won with this mare all three times he has been aboard. No. 2 Home Journey will once again try and hold them off. 2-6-8

Race 9

Bejarano and Hollendorfer hook up in the last race on dropper and turnbacker No. 2 Flexible, he will be running late. No. 8 Hit a Homerun exits out HTW list as a $$$ play, he ran big in his first start and is the one to beat. No. 6 Keegers exits the same race as Hit a Homerun, he ran an even 5th first off the layoff and can improve. 2-6-8

Race 1

No. 1 Wise will fall into a good stalking spot from the rail and make her run on the turn, she can get there at a square price. 1

Race 2

No. 1 Astutely is the speed on the rail, since we are on Hit a Homerun at Sana Anita and it is baseball season No. 5 Monster Hit is a must use in this race as he has won 7 of his 15 starts here. 1-5

Race 3

No. 2 Tribal Tribute comes back to town off a good 2nd on the grass at Santa Anita. No. 5 Olympic Blue has won 4 of his 6 turf races here at the gate. 2-5

Race 4

No. 4 Jack Diz exits our HTW list and is a solid single in this $5k maiden claimer albeit at a short price.

Maidens go 1 mile on the grass. No. 5 Eternal Flame has been right there in all of  his races and now will try the grass and he is bred for it. His main danger comes from No. 7 Lord Lochinvar. 5-7

5th 5-7 and an exacta box 5-7

Race 6

No. 1 Kings Adventure is the lone speed on the rail and will take some catching at odds on in this field with the big drop in class. No. 6 Lead the Pack is the main danger, he broke his maiden after shipping in, he will sit right on the tail of Kings Adventure. 1-6

Race 7

Maiden fillies and mares go 5 furlongs on the grass. No. 4 Lady Harbinger has hit the board in all three of her starts going 6 furlongs. She will love this 5 furlong distance and will handle the green, she has a bullet last work for this. No. 5 Trimoma gets her second start and exits the same race as the Harbinger. No. 7 Azia Brown was well bet in her one and only start finishing second after showing good early speed, she also has a bullet last work. 4-5-7

Race 8

No. 4 Tenille drops a notch and gets Juan Hernandez back in the irons, he was on this filly for her last win. No. 6 Milady Maid looks right there with this group and we will get a square price with jockey Severino Maicol getting the call. No. 7 Star Image will be running them all down late. 4-6-7

Race 9

$6,250 claimers go 1-1/16 on the grass to end the day at the gate. No. 3 See Zo Go comes off the layoff for Martin and this 8yo gelding has won 8 times on this turf course. No. 4 Street Serenade blasted home on the main last out and should be able to handle the grass and the move back up in class. No. 5 Dr Williams likes this course and is in top form. 3-4-5
