No. 1 Comin’offthebench gets her second start off the layoff and the jockey that rode her for the maiden breaker here last year gets back on. No. 3 Secret Appeal will find a fast early pace to make her late run. 1-3

Race 2

20k maiden fillies and mares go 5 furlongs, the best of the group is No. 6 Beyond Lucky who finished 3rd at this distance last time out. No. 3 Queen Khaleesi is a first-time starter who gets the bug boy Brayan Pena. 3-6

Race 3

No. 1 Autumn Twilight exits our HTW list off a nice second last out, she has been looking for a spot and now will try going a mile, her works say yes. No. 6 Wandering Heart ran a good race in her one and only going a mile on the grass, she will handle the dirt. 1-6

Race 4

7 runners go 1-1/4 on the grass, trainer Paulo Lobo looking for his first win at the meet sends out No. 2 Golden Crown who ran a better than looked 4th in her first start in the states, No. 3 Hug and a Kiss finished behind the Golden Crown in that race but gets the leading jockey this time around. No. 5 Berts Melody is the speed and just may forget to stop. No. 6 Fresh Feline exits the same race as Crown and Kiss, she beat them both and just missed the win by a half length. 2-3-5-6

Race 5

No. 3 Backstreet Lisa just missed taking them wire-to-wire last time out at this level and now will go 7 furlongs, No. 6 Kyankes just broke her maiden going a flat mile and will try and run down Lisa. 3-6

Race 6

No. 1 Crushed Velvet has been bet like a good thing in all of her starts, she will try going a mile today off a nice work, after three straight turf races No. 3 Dakota Kid will try the dirt and Stevens sticks for his buddy Tom Proctor. 1-3

Race 7

Down the hill they go, No. 7 Kiama makes her way here from Florida and lands in the barn of Peter Miller, she has been sprinting on the grass and just may take to this layout, No. 9 Nazareth gets a great post and is the only one in this field who has won going down the hill. 7-9

Race 8

THE 75K SAN PEDRO

There will be a ton of heat up front so someone will need to sit off the pace, Mike Smith gets on No. 1 Well Maybe and he will try and sit chilly and make one run turning for home, No. 8 No Problem also can sit and he gets the hard trying Santiago Gonzalez. 1-8

Race 9

50k maiden fillies and mares go down the hill, No. 1 Ivana Beat Yabad changed her style last out when going to the front, she will not do that today, No. 3 Oui Bear gets a turn back in distance after routing on the grass, she could pop at a fair price on the drop. No. 8 Our Candy Charms drops in with maiden claimers in this her third start, she will go better today. 1-3-8

GOLDEN GATE

Race 1

They don’t get much worse than this race at the gate, No. 5 Kimalea should eat these up with the drop to this level. 5

Race 2

Only one filly has run in this six horse field and that was No. 5 Thru the Ages who hesitated at the start, with a good break she can win today, after that any of the other five first-time starters can win. 5 

Race 3

3yo 20k maiden fillies go a 1-1/16 on the grass, No. 1 Singing, No. 2 Aly’s Last Magic and No. 3 Cochinero all drop from straight maiden races and one of the three should win. 1-2-3

Race 4

No. 2 Betting McCann Can gets his first start off the John Martin claim and he promptly puts Baze on, No. 4 Tribal Again will be coming with a late run on the drop in class. 2-4

Race 5

They go 5 furlongs on the grass, No. 5 Whilly Pink has finished second in 2 of 3 here at this turf distance, No. 6 Star Rocker has 2 wins and a 2nd from his 3 starts going this distance and is 1 for 1 here at the gate. 5-6

Race 6

No. 1 Grazen’s Hope comes off the layoff for Miyadi and this colt has won 3 of his 6 starts here with a second and two thirds, No. 2 A Toast to You has finished second in three straight with Baze riding at short prices, he will be short again. No. 3 Tiz Point loves this track with 7 wins form his 15 starts, he may have been best last time out but had a ton of trouble. 1-2-3

Race 7

No. 4 Foolhardy looks to be very dangerous in here at a price. 4

Win and place 4

Race 8

Lots and lots of early speed, No. 8 Fighting On is the one that will run the speed down, No. 6 Convoy exits the same race and if he can sit he will be right there with Fighting On. No. 9 Bold Fantasy comes off the 7 month layoff, he has shown in the past that he can close. 6-8-9

Race 9

Baze sticks around to ride the big dropper for Hollendorfer No. 3 Malibu Rum, the last time No. 10 Heat Maker ran for this price he won by 4 lengths. 3-10
