No. 4 Smart Transition looks a solid play in this 1-1/6 maiden race as he was 8/5 against Whiskey Ticket who just won the Illinois Derby. No. 4 Ink Well gets back on the grass and this time goes down the hill, he is bred for the grass and finds a good spot at a price. No. 5 Seve’s Road comes off the layoff for O’Neill and Bejarano gets the call, he was a solid 4th at Del Mar last year behind the stakes winning Papacoolpapacool. No. 8 Sir Irish Danny also comes off the layoff after getting claimed for $50k last year at Del Mar by John Sadler, it’s a good sign that he brings this Unusual Heat colt back in this straight maiden race going down the hill. 4-5-8
