No. 1 Queenofhercastle gets off the grass and back sprinting on the dirt. No. 3 Jan’s Spirit has run big in her two dirt starts, she is spotted for action. No. 6 Miz Penelope is the stablemate of Jan’s Spirit and she gets Bejarano riding for Baltas and this has been a hot hook up. 1-3-6

Race 3

THE 100K GRADE III AFFIRMED

No. 1 Gimme Da Lute comes back to town and will try and go 1-1/16, No. 2 Cyrus Alexander has always been well regarded and has hit the board in all seven of his starts. 1-2

Race 4

Maiden fillies and mares go down the hill, No. 2 Half Past Midnight was bet down last time out but never got untracked, she tries the grass today and her breeding says yes, No. 5 Margaret Reay comes off the layoff for Proctor and his buddy Gary Stevens gets the call, this filly ran good on the Belmont grass last year and will love going down the hill. 2-5

Race 5

No. 4 Queen of the Hill got the win first off the claim last out and is spotted for a repeat win. No. 5 Sugar Spice went wire-to-wire at this level and distance one race back. 4-5

Race 6

THE 75K POSSIBLY PERFECT HANDICAP GOING 1-1/2 MILES ON THE GRASS

No. 1 Gas Total just ran a bang up second in the Grade I Vanity. No. 2 Gaga A is in from France for Neil Drysdale and her works say ready. Mike Smith gets on No. 5 Scooter Bird who has a win here at this distance. No. 6 Customer Base finished a close second in this race last year. 1-2-5-6

Race 7

No. 6 Sensational Nikki ran a good race last time out at this level and the filly who beat her came back and won again next out, No. 8 Water Issues drops in class, gets off the grass and goes sprinting 7 furlongs, she will be putting in a late run. No. 9 Lust for Life is the filly to beat off her last. 6-8-9

Race 8

No. 1 Cardiac exits our HTW list off a troubled trip last out, No. 4 The Last Express got on the grass last time out and stormed home for the win, he may have found his calling. No. 7 Know Plans will like the longer distance today. 1-4-7

Race 9

No. 5 Annisquam showed better early speed last out and now the drop in with maiden claimers will make her very dangerous, after her this is a very wide open race. 5

GOLDEN GATE

Race 1

No. 1 Bev’s Finale gets off the grass and back sprinting, he will try and run down No. 3 Sunrise Legacy. 1-3

Race 2

The drop in class could get No. 3 Parsky home on top today, we think so. 3

Race 3

Once again No. 2 Lord Lochinvar looks best and will be overbet but his 10 losses are a concern at a short price, No. 4 Court Contender looks on the uptick and could take this with Ricardo Gonzalez getting the call. 2-4

Race 4

No. 1 Her Again gets the big move up in class as she looks for the hat trick, No. 4 Can Can Babe looks the speed on the drop. 1-4

Race 5

No. 2 Warrens Lil Margie drops in class and gets the bug boy David Lopez, it looks like the money run. 2

Race 6

No. 6 Inner City ships in from Santa Anita for Hess, he gets the big drop in class and finds little to beat. 6

Race 7

Trainer Blaine Wright sends out the uncoupled entry of No. 2 Mah Gellin who never runs a bad race and the speedy No. 5 Tizaplayer who comes off the long layoff but is loaded with bullets. 2-5

Race 8

No. 1 Katsfashion shipped in from Santa Anita and ran a solid second last out, No. 2 Tizmiss gets her first start off the Jack Steiner claim and he hits at around 55% first off the claim. No. 3 Forbidden Command showed good early speed with better at Santa Anita and now drops from 50k to this 25k maiden claimer. 1-2-3

Race 9

No. 7 Sweet Sense blasted home to win with ease in her first start on this circuit, she may be able to take the class hike, we will take our shot. 7
