No. 3 Thirtyfirststreet gets the big drop in class trying to find his form, No. 5 Fighter Squadron gets his third start at the meet and his second off the Hess claim, he looks spotted for action. No. 8 Friendly Banter has been looking for a race first off the O’Neill claim. 3-5-8

Race 4

No. 1 Reneesgotzip will be doing just that in this race, showing all her zip, No. 3 Maker Or Breaker has been working good here and gets big race Mike Smith in the irons for Baffert who is due to heat up when the move to Santa Anita. No. 8 Kinz Funky Monkey is in top form and Martin Garcia opts for her over Maker Or Breaker. 1-3-8

Race 5

No. 2 Fonz comes back in 10 days in this his third start off the layoff, he gets Kent D and a double drop in class, he will find a fast early pace to make his late run, No. 3 World Famous Sam T beat the Fonz last out and now gets the double drop off the win, trainer Hess hits at .50% with this move. 2-3

Race 6

THE 100K OAK TREE JUVENILE TURF

No. 3 Dallas Skyline won at first asking here on the grass on August 9th, he has been in steady work mood pointing for this race all along, lots of spots that trainer Mark Casse could have run first-time starter No. 7 Conquest Bespoke but he chose this race and big race Mike Smith gets the call. No. 9 Sky Preacher freaked when sent long on the grass at Santa Anita winning by more than seven lengths at .60 cents on the dollar. 3-7-9

Bejarano gets on first-time starter No. 2 Cougar Country for trainer Hollendorfer, he is out of the dam Free to Soar ( Unbridled) who has dropped 2 winners from 2 starters and both were stakes winners, No. 4 Pretentious is out of the dam Turkappeal (Turkoman) who has dropped 9 winners from 9 starters. No. 5 Ketos is out of the dam Charismatic Lady who has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters. No. 8 Stormy Liberal is out of the dam Vassar who has dropped 5 winners from 5 starters. 2-4-5-8

THE 300K GRADE I DEL MAR FUTURITY

No. 9 Skyway is the colt to beat off his win in the Grade II Best Pal, No. 6 Henry’s Holiday finished a solid second behind him. 6-9

It’s very interesting that trainer Ingrid Mason waited the entire meet to run No. 7 Stormy Adieu, Van Dyke rides and we will be using, No. 8 Definitely Not has finished second in both of her starts and is the one to beat albeit at a short price. 7-8

Race 10

The day, the meet, the poly track all come to an end as we get the last race which goes a mile on the grass, No. 1 Taste Like Candy will love the grass and the longer distance and what a fitting end to the meet as Bejarano could win this as he has already locked up the riding title, No. 7 Vanlose Stairway has been looking to get back on the green. No. 2 Disregarded ran a good second on this course last out and will find a good tracking position, he could get the jump on them turning for home. 1-2-7

No. 4 Beezaroo has never won here but finds a favorable pace scenario today. 4

No. 1 Lota Spunk drops and that will help his chances, No. 4 God Of War comes back to town after a good run at Del Mar, bet him to cash. 1-4

Race 4

No. 5 Tell Her Yes just missed at 9/5 first out and will be odds on today, first-time starter No. 6 Aloha Ke Akua will try and upset. 5-6

Race 5

No. 3 Crushed It won first off the layoff at Santa Rosa on the grass, he is a solid fit with this crew, No. 5 Siberian Laughter will try and take them wire-to-wire. 3-5

Race 6

No. 6 Reflected Love gets the big drop in class and Baze sticks, odds on again. 6

Race 7

We finish our 7 race card with fillies and mares going 1-1/16 on the grass, No. 7 Sapphire Breeze drops in class, she will sit right off the pace and pounce turning for home, all looks right. 7
