The girls in here all want to front end so the one that can sit may just win the race, both No. 1 Misty Carmel and No. 4 Milliondollarbill are dropping to the bottom of the maiden claiming ranks in So Cal and this 5 furlong distance may be the answer and you just may see Milliondollar bill take back off the hot pace. 1-4

Race 3

Trainer Clifford Sise has two entered in here but the one that interest us is his first time starter No. 5 Queen’s Rule in this straight maiden race going a flat mile on the grass. His sire Artie Schiller was no slouch on the grass and jockey Gomez sees fit to ride. 5

4yo and up that have never won two races going 1 1/16, No. 5 Unusual Encounter broke his maiden here at this distance with Sutherland riding almost a year to the day, Chantal gets back in the irons, can history repeat? No. 6 Anga also won his only race at this distance and the one other time he finished second, jockey Bejarano got to know him last time out and he could be set for a big run. 5-6

Statebred 3yo fillies going a flat mile and these races can get very dicey, No. 4 Lift Our Luck just did miss here going 7 furlongs last time out and she is exiting our HTW list, No. 5 Warren’s Flyer has been facing much tougher girls and she may find this crew to her liking. 4-5

No. 2 Crisis Of Spirit was best last time out but was blocked in the stretch but still came on and lost by less than a length, trainer Bob Baffert who trains Crisis Of Spirit for his buddy Mike Pegram also trains No. 6 Excellent News. 2-6

The hot Mike Mitchell has been winning with his first time starters left and right and he sends out No. 1 Katelyn N’ Janna, No. 4 Taptap I’mgone gets her first start off the Jeff Mullins claim and Bejarano says he will ride. Don’t know much a bout the jockey on No. 5 A Golden Jet but she drops into an action spot as does No. 6 Go Sophia. 1-4-5-6

We will use the Miyadi play in this race plus one, trainer Miyadi sends out No. 3 Costin’s Quest and No. 4 Don’t Be Bugging Me, we also like No. 2 Excellent Point who gets her second start under the care of trainer Jauregui who hits at over 40% with second out horses he gets and the blinkers go on. 2**-3-4

The ultra hot Lloyd Mason sends out HTW No. 4 Smokin Fame and No. 6 Mind The Ladies ran right behind Sputnik last time out and he gets his second start off the layoff for a hot trainer and jockey combo. 1-2-4-6

No. 3 Candy Store is in top form and has won three of his six starts here, No. 4 Victory With Honor is in form Santa Anita, he will find these much easier than the Grade 2 horses he ran against in the San Fernando. No. 5 Highway Bandit is the stablemate of Candy Store and is a must use. 3-4-5


Race 8

No. 1 Wise Student gets back to the distance of his maiden breaker, today he will sit off he pace, No. 5 The Phenom is in from Santa Anita and drops big time, he will try and take them as far as he can on the front end. 1-5
