Race 3

They go sprinting on the grass five furlongs for a huge purse of 72k, No. 2 Roy H has looked very good in his two starts down the hill at Santa Anita and trainer Peter Miller has him spotted for a big run today. No. 4 Lamontagne comes to town for Wesley Ward and he puts John Cruz the new bug boy in the irons. 2-4

Race 4

No. 5 Tizmatic comes off the layoff for Eurton and exits a big key race, he could be live on the drop, No. 9 Out of Mischief ships in for Stidham who has won with two of his four shippers getting the ship and win bonus money. No. 11 Gravity Force has a big last work here and is ready to fire a big shot. 5-9-11

Race 5

No. 2 Lily Kai looks set to go long off that last five furlong work. No. 7 Unusual Storm exits the same race as Lily and has the same good turf sire Unusual Heat. No. 8 Just Got Lucky ran ok going a mile on the grass last out and now gets a major rider upgrade to Bejarano. 2-7-8

Race 6

No. 7 Midnight Transfer drops and gets back sprinting, wake up time. No. 10 Buckleberry Grey is undefeated since coming back as a gelding. No. 11 Kafister drops to a much better level. 7-10-11

Race 7

They go 1-3/8 on the grass, No. 1 Circling will get a fast early pace to launch her late run, No. 2 Kadesha finished second here at this distance on the grass back in November. No. 3 Halljoy can get the distance. 1-2-3

Race 8

No. 7 Emerald Green comes to town for the good trainer Andy Mathis who already has won with one of his shippers at the meet, No. 8 Hot and Pleasing looks perfectly spotted off the maiden breaker. 7-8
