Jeff Mullins has been sending out nothing but live runners and he sends out No. 9 Admiral Jaxon who drops and goes long in this his second start, he will love the longer distance. 3-5-9

Race 4

No. 2 Hidden Zensation just won at this price tag last out going 7 furlongs at Santa Anita, he will be flying late going 5-1/2 today, No. 8 I Will Follow looks very sneaky for Mathis with Iggy getting the call. No. 10 Newfound Gold always runs his race. 2-8-10

Race 5

Maiden 2yo go a flat mile on the grass, No. 2 Scatastrophe is by the good turf sire Scat Daddy and will love the grass, No. 3 Rideo is by top turf sire Candy Ride and he gets Flavien Prat up. No. 8 Rare Candy lost by a dwindling 3/4 of a length going 5 furlongs on the Belmont turf in his one and only start, he moves from the Assmussen barn to the barn of David Hofmans. 2-3-8

No. 1 Kobe’s Back will try and run down the speed, that last work here was a pip, No. 5 Masochistic just won the Grade I Triple Bend and has won 6 of his 8 starts and will be very hard to beat. No. 6 Appealing Tale ran second behind Masochistic. 1-5**-6

2yo maiden fillies go 6 furlongs, Mike Smith gets on No. 1 Songbird for Hollendorfer, she is working like a runner, Bejarano gets on the Curlin filly No. 3 Annie’s Curls for Michael Stidman, she has two good works over the surface. No. 7 Tiz a Tommy Town exits our HTW list as a $$$$$ play, but her works here do not inspire. No. 8 Treasuring is a Baffert first-time starter out of the dam Teeming who has dropped 5 winners from 5 starters including two stakes winners. No. 10 Exactamente is a first timer for Kent D and his bro Keith, he is sired by J P’s Gusto who has won with 50% of his first-timer runners. 1-3-7-8-10

No. 8 Awesome Return is in top form, he gets Mike Smith back and he was on this one for his win here last year, No. 10 Temple Keys will be launching from far back and will need some pace to run at and some luck. 8-10

Race 9

No. 2 Alamo just looks set for the maiden breaker and that last work has him ready to get it done, No. 3 Lucky for Danny is in from Peru for Peter Miller and looks live. No. 4 Sleepwalker has real nice last work here for this. No. 6 Rosicky lost at .60 cents on the dollar last out going long, he gets back to a sprint where he lost by a neck the one time he sprinting and it was at this 6-1/2 furlong distance. Baffert sends out two runners but the one we like is the $200k purchase No. 11 Magic Moon. 2-3-4-6-11

This tough day ends with fillies and mares going a mile on the grass, in a wide open race we will opt for a price play and use No. 10 Charming Starlet who finally got the maiden breaker last out in start 14 going a mile on the grass, she looks to have put it all together and we will come right back with her.
