No. 1 Mothernaturespell gets her first start off the Hess claim and Bejarano gets the call, we will single in the pick five. 1

20k maiden fillies and mares go 61/2 furlongs, No. 2 Ms. K J almost got there last time out when dropped to this 20k level, she has a nice last work over the course, No. 6 Korcha Kid was last seen here almost a year to the day, she comes back for a sharp outfit and could surprise at a big price. No. 10 Honor N Grace has some early speed and will be firing out of the gate with the drop from straight maidens. No. 12 Divine Tale just missed in her last two starts at this level and will be the one to fear late. 2-6-10-12

Race 6

40K claimers go a mile on the grass, No. 3 Mr T Bird has been getting close and now gets Flavien Prat in the irons, No. 4 Tosheen has big early speed and has been sprinting on the grass, he will open up a big lead and play catch me if you can. No. 6 It Is Living Water is the one to beat with the drop to this level. No. 7 Home School also has some good early speed and will fall into a nice tracking position right behind Tosheen. 3-4-6-7

Race 7

Straight maidens go 6 furlongs, James Graham gets a big call for Richard Baltas on No. 3 Lily Pod who has been well bet in her last two starts with Bejarano riding, we may get a better price with no Bejarano, John Sadler sends out first-time starter No. 6 Ponder Lea who is out of the dam Rumba Punch who has dropped 5 winners from 5 starters including a stakes winner. 3-6

Race 8


No. 2 Talco has really blossomed and is in the best form of his life and comes off a big win in the Grade I Shoemaker Mile, No. 4 Bal a Bali beat Talco in the Grade III American but lost to him in the Shoemaker. The Desormeaux brothers hook up on the sprinter No. 5 Marchman who exits our HTW list as a $$$ play. 2-4-5

Race 9

No. 4 Gloryzapper won first out of the box for D’Amato and may be this good going 7 furlongs, No. 8 Exposure is the speed of the speed and will try and take them wire-to-wire off a big last work here on the 15th. 4-8

Race 10

This very tough day ends with 25k fillies and mares going a mile on the grass, No. 1 Love Blind has had some serious works for this first off the claim, we stand up and take notice when Kent D sticks around to ride the last race and he is on the ship and win No. 3 With a Twist. No. 9 Aunty Pearl is another ship and win candidate for Bill Spawr, she has some good speed and looks very dangerous. 1-3-9
