No. 6 Ain’t No Other won going down the hill and fits in this five furlong turf race, No. 7 Eddie’s First gets his third start at the meet and first off the Peter Miller claim, he just did get beat at this distance on the grass one race back with tougher. No. 9 Giant Ego drops and he gets his second try on this five furlong turf course and comes off a troubled trip. 6-7-9

THE GRADE III TORREY PINES

No. 1 Stellar Wind comes off the layoff, but this Grade I winner has been meeting much stronger and has won four of her six starts, bet her to cash. 1

Race 4

No. 1 Chasing the Heat comes off a good try with 16k company and drops in with 10k company, No. 4 My Slew gets a move up in class off the Mullins claim. 1-4

Race 5

With Mark Casse leaving town No. 3 What’s Up Gus moves to the barn of Steve Miyadi, he showed some spark last time out in his second start and looks to be sitting on a big effort today at a big price. No. 2 Professor Berns gets his second start off the layoff and worked a bullet here on the 20th. No. 6 Lamaan drops in with maiden claimers off a troubled trip last out, he will be coming late. No. 5 Zarqa Star exits our HTW list and will go long on the grass both for the first-time on the move up, he will like the grass. 2-3-5-6

Race 6

After crushing them at .60 cents on the dollar No. 1 Hide My Heart gets the big jump back up the class ladder, No. 6 Always a Chance will sit off a hot pace and pounce late. 1-6

Race 7

No. 4 The Gomper looks to be sitting on a win on the grass and the good turf jock Prat gets the ride today for Hollendorfer who is trying to win the training title. Bejarano who has been on The Gomper ops for No. 6 Fritz Johansen who comes off a real nice win going this mile turf distance. No. 7 Hunt is in from Ireland for D’Amato and draws the services of Mike Smith, he looks sneaky. No. 10 Chiropractor exits our HTW list off a very troubled trip last out, No. 9 Forest Blue has big early speed and exits the same race as the Chiropractor. 4-6-7-9-10

No. 6 Blue Anchor finds a good spot in this his second lifetime start, he ran ok with better at Santa Anita and now the hustling Martin Pedroza gets the call, No. 10 Financial gets in with maiden claimers for the first-time and gets off the grass. No. 11 Sunbeamsfromheaven looks live off the layoff for Hollendorfer/Bejarano.  6-10-11

Race 9

If No. 1 Royal Temptress can stay out of trouble she wins this today. No. 6 Full Ransom gets her second start off the layoff and exits the same race as Royal Temptress. 1-6

Race 10

Another tough day at Del Mar ends with 20k maiden fillies and mares going the grueling distance of 7 furlongs, No. 6 Take It Easyplease didn’t run bad when dropped to this level last time out and may like this distance. No. 7 Sidepocket Bet exits a good third here in his last start at this level and distance. No. 8 Divine Tale is the one to beat off her last two races going six furlongs when coming late just missing. 6-7-8

GOLDEN GATE

Race 1

No. 1 Dually Affirmed drops to a level that will make him dangerous, No. 2 The Great Caper looks the one to beat. 1-2

Race 2

No. 2 Millie’s Topper is the speed on the drop and the one to catch, No. 3 Lady Lionheart will be running her down late. 2-3

Race 3

Lots of early zip in here and it could set things up for No. 4 River Lemon and No. 6 Hill Tribe from off the hot pace. 4-6

Race 4

No. 2 Fast Pass has been working well for his first start, No. 5 Seeking a Mystery is his stablemate also making his first start, he is out of the dam Mystical Game who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters. No. 6 Boleadoras has a good last work for his first start. 2-5-6

Race 5

No. 3 Kathy’s Lil Secret ran a nice even race in her first start and will move forward in this spot, she was well bet in her first race and looks the winner today. 3

Race 6

No. 2 Pata Blanca has a good last work and looks ready for a big effort going 1-1/16 on the grass, No. 3 last Greetings gets her second off the layoff and will be making her usual late run. No. 5 Irene’s Cherub is a two-time winner on this turf course. 2-3-5

Race 7

No. 2 Mayie gets her third start off the layoff and she just missed last time out, No. 6 Beautiful Dreamer ran good in her one and only and fits on the drop. No. 7 Myheartsinthecity ran right behind Mayie last out and was gaining at the end. No. 8 Awesome and Ready is a live first-time starter. 2-6-7-8

Race 8

No. 2 Matty’s Tribal broke his maiden here back in June and has a good last work, he is claim proof today, No. 5 Monsieur Power comes if from the South and may like it here. No. 6 Stellar Sea has run second in both of his starts here at the Gate. 2-5-6

Race 9

No. 6 Three Vases comes off the layoff and if he can run back to his last start at Del Mar last year he wins this. No. 8 Stone Hot owns a win here at this five furlong turf distance and that last work says he is on go. No. 9 Kings Adventure has big early speed and won his last race at this five furlong turf distance here at the Gate. 6-8-9
