No. 4 Among the Angels was very green in her first start, she exits our HTW list and can only move forward and the price will be right. No. 5 Briana Jean is the stablemate of Among the Angles and drops a notch off some good efforts. 2-4-5

Race 2

No. 2 Shake Things Up arrives here from New York and lands in the barn of Peter Miller. He comes off a wire-to-wire win with $40k maidens at Belmont. No. 4 Commander King just missed here last out and has a good last work. No. 9 Gunslinger exits our HTW list off a freakish 13 length win. He moves up in class and will try the grass first off the O’Neill claim. 2-4-9

Race 3

Tons of early speed in here and if a speed duel happens ,and it looks like it will, No. 3 Never Ends will have a shot if able to rate behind the fast pace as well as No. 6 Enduring Erin who comes off a nice win at this mile dirt distance. 3-6

Race 4

Maiden fillies and mares travel 1-1/8 on the grass. No. 3 Redheads Rule exits our HTW list as a $$$$$ play off her near miss going a mile on the grass last out off the layoff, this Big Brown filly is sitting on the win. Mike Smith gets on No. 6 Place des Vosges who will be a nice price play even with Mike riding. No. 7 Nashoba’s Candy exits the same race as the Redhead and this will be just her second start, she will move forward today. No. 10 Margaret Reay is stuck on the outside but has a big shot with a good trip. 3-6-7-10

Race 5

THE $150K I’M SMOKEN

They will be flying up front and we will side with No. 4 Smokey Image who comes in from Santa Rosa. He has shown he can rate off the pace and brings in a perfect 3 for 3 record. 4

Race 6

They go five furlongs on the grass here and again they will be smokin up front. No. 1 Ferocious had a blistering work on August 29th when best of 74. No. 7 K Thirty Eight just won here on this 5 furlong turf course when sitting off the hot pace, he will do the same thing tonight. No. 8 Inkling ships in for Wesley Ward and comes off a 10 month vacation from his running in Aussie land. No. 10 Caminetto just may take to this course. 1-7-8-10

Race 7

$20k maidens go six furlongs to end this twilight card. No. 2 Blue Ratio drops in class and this could be his level. No. 9 Clearly See is a first time starter with a good work pattern and looks ready to run a big race. No. 10 Shanty Irish gets his first start off the Andy Mathis claim and he moves him back to a sprint. Bejarano gets on first time starter No. 11 Resistanceisfutile for Mike Puype, he has been working with a purpose. 2-9-10-11**

GOLDEN GATE

Race 1

No. 1 Al’s Uncle gets a big drop in class and Baze jumps on, bet him to cash. 1

Race 2

No. 1 Fishers Cross ran his best race here last out going this mile distance. No. 6 Sure Victory ran good at this distance and level last out at Sacramento. 1-6

Race 3

No. 1 Honor Society finds a field with a lot of early zip, he will sit and pounce down the lane. No. 2 Underwrite gets off the grass and looks the main danger. 1-2

Race 4

No. 1 Mr. Discipline is on a win every other race pattern and this is his win race first off the Jack Steiner claim and big drop. No. 2 Chapman’s Peak ships in form Del Mar and gets Baze. 1-2

Race 5

No. 6 Ransom Canyon just missed last out when moved back to this circuit. He has a nice last work and looks like a solid single. 6

Race 6

No. 1 Hear the Ghost will be stalking No. 3 Step On the Gas and get first jump. No. 4 Duke of Doom will be flying late and could run them all down. 1-3-4

Double 

5th 6

6th 1-3-4

Race 7

No. 2 Lucky Julie has had her chances but finds a very easy spot today. No. 4 Declared Innocents exits the same race. 2-4

Race 8

2yo maidens go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Crown Me Pepper worked mile for his debut, don’t see that by a 2yo very often. No. 3 Justfoe Gitit is out of the dam Harlingen who has dropped 8 winners from 8 starters. No. 5 Slickrock his stablemate is out of the dam Anasazi who has dropped 7 winners from 7 starters. No. 6 Alaskan Cruise is out of the dam Summer Cruise who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters. No. 11 Marqula debuted in a $50k event and went off at 5-2. 1-3-5-6-11
