No. 3 Osceola Pond ran a good second on this mile turf course last out. No. 6 British Bulldog is the stablemate of Osceola Pond. 1-3-6

Race 2

No. 2 Papaslilprincess gets off the grass and back sprinting, she will find a good pace to make a late run and she drops into a great spot. No. 7 Two Step Flor won here last out and looks the speed of the speed and Bejarano sticks. Interesting spot for comebacker No. 10 I Have a Price who will be just that. 2-7-10

Race 3

No. 1 Majestic Heat was over her head in the Grade I Del Mar Oaks and now is spotted perfectly and she gets Bejarano today. The hot Richard Baltas sends out No. 9 Journey On who has a great style for this course and Stevens sticks. She also gets her second start off the layoff and will be a much tighter animal today. 1-9

Race 4

Trainer Peter Miller will be dropping some of his horses as he tries to win the trainers title; he dose that with No. 1 Katy Drama who also gets off the grass. No. 10 It Girl exits the same race and gets a major rider upgrade. 1-10

Race 5

Maiden 2yo go 5-1/2 furlongs as they make these pick fives very tough. Baffert sends out first time starer No. 6 Arabian Leopard a $575k purchase aptly named by owners Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum. John Sadler sends out first time starter No. 9 Silent Movies who is out of the dam Magic Show who has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters. Trainer Doug O’Neill sends out two but the one we like is No. 10 Frank Conversation owned by the leading owner at the meet Reddam, his last work says ready.

THE $100K DEL MAR JUVENILE TURF

Hollendorfer brings in No. 1 Imalreadythere from Gulfstream Park and the good turf jock Flavien Prat gets the call. No. 5 Mr Notorious is off the boar from France for Cassidy and big race Mike Smith says he will ride. No. 8 Rare Candy looked good winning his maiden breaker on the grass here at this mile distance after shipping in from Belmont Park. No. 11 Hot Ore freaked when put on the grass last out and could be this good. 1-5-8-11

Race 7

The one time No. 1 Rockinatten went 7 furlongs he won by almost 9 lengths. He had his race and looks set for a big run. No. 5 New Summit is a lightly raced colt who has run good in all four of his starts. No. 6 Rockport Kat blasted them when making his first start after shipping here from Gulfstream Park and the horse he beat came back to score next out. No. 12 Classic Gent exits our HTW list off a near miss last time out going 6-1/2 furlongs. 1-5-6-12

Race 8

Kent D gets back on No. 5 Tiz a Kiss for Baltas. He just missed last out by a head and has a very good last work, all systems go. We will take our shot and single. 5

THE $300K GRADE I DEL MAR DEBUTANTE

No. 3 Pretty N Cool has run back-to-back freakish races and will take some serious beating in here. No. 5 Surfside Tiara ran super in her won last out and looks the main danger. No. 11 Songbird exits out HTW list off an eye popping win first out and she is the stablemate of Tiara. 3-5-11

Race 10

No. 2 Patentar broke slow in his first start in the states and will go much better today with the longer trip. No. 9 Zuri Chop gets his second start in the states and will appreciate the easier company and the jock switch to Tyler Baze. 2-9

Race 11

No. 5 Ain’t Misbehavin drops into a spot that makes him dangerous and he gets his third start at the meet. No. 7 Formally Wild gets a big drop and will be the speed. Interesting that Kent Desourmeaux is not riding for his brother in this race. He gets back on No. 11 Market Notes who also drops in class.

Race 1

No. 1 Uptown Big Brown will try and run down the dropped stretchout horse No. 4 Apollo’s Legacy.

Race 2

No. 2 Gamer Babe gets off the grass and back to a sprint and will go much better in here. No. 3 Katie’s No Lady is the speed and properly spotted off the maiden breaker. Baze gets on No. 5 Kohala first off the Victor Trujillo claim. 2-3-5

Race 3

No. 5 Bertrane finally got the maiden breaker last out, he hit the board in five of six starts here on the grass and looks the one to beat today. 5

Race 4

No. 1 Ourprincessmelanie drops and has a good last work. No. 5 Triple Blend won easy first out of the box and is the stablemate of Melanie. 1-5

Race 5

No. 8 Mucho Blessings was put on the grass for the first time and won in fine fashion last out. She will find a very fast pace today and that will set up her last run. Her main danger will come from No. 9 Neversaynever who will fall into a good stalking position and get first jump on the speed, she gets her first start off the Martin claim. 8-9

When trainer Lloyd Mason sends out two in the same race he sometimes gets the cash and he sends out No. 1 Sierrastorm the speed on the rail and No. 3 Lucky K J who drops in class. 1-3

No. 1 Charming Starlet ships in from Del Mar and that last work says she is on go. No. 7 Onedewoman likes this course and gets Hernandez, look for a big run. 1-7

Race 8

No. 2 Shakahari ships in from Del Mar and gets his first start off the Blaine Wright claim and Baze gets the call. No. 6 Tiz Fitting drops and gets his second off the layoff, he will be running late. 2-6

Race 9

We gets maidens going 1-1/16 on the grass to end the day at the Gate. No. 1 Saxon Lord is in from Del Mar and is bred for the grass. No. 3 Broken Up is also in from Del Mar and he gets Baze. 1-3
