No. 1 Wild Street Party is a first time starter with the good connections of Tommy Town and Steve Miyadi. No. 6 Lana Caprina gets her 12th start but did may have found a group of girls she can beat.

On the surface no one can win this mile $20k maiden claimer but someone will. No. 9 Black Tie at least got close last time out at Del Mar and he did run second here back in July. 9

Race 4

2yo maidens go 5-1/2 furlongs, good 2yo trainer John Brocklebank sends out No. 2 Purrin’ Proud off a bullet work at Del Mar. Hollendorfer and Mike Smith hook up with No. 3 I Will Score who just may. Baffert sends out No. 4 Mighty Moses also off a bullet work at Del Mar. He also sends out No. 7 Undeniable who has been working here since back in May. 2-3-4-7

Race 5

No. 2 Jonny’s Choice was on our HTW list back in July but never showed up again until now, he lost by a nostril in that race a race many thought he won. He has been working well and is the one to beat. No. 3 Finallygotthebentley won in his only start here. 2-3

Race 6

No. 2 Tangled UP in Ju exits a good try in her first start despite trouble, the filly that finished second in the race came back and won a stakes next out. No. 5 Hijiki is a first time starter out of the dam Zak’s Precocious who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters, she has been working very well. No. 7 Nine Point Nine is in from Emerald Downs where she finished second in her one start when sent off at even money. No. 10 Octofy was sent off at even money here back in July, she has been working bullets for her return.

Race 7

No. 6 Captain Corrigan got the needed race off the long layoff and will wake up in this spot. No. 10 Harbaugh ran as a first time gelding last out, he gets the stretch out today second as a gelding and second off the layoff, this is the money run. 6-10

Race 8

We end the day with 2yo $30k maiden fillies going 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Grape Fizz has big early speed and this lesser company will make her very hard to beat. Baffert sends out No. 7 Zenergy for her first start and he hits at 34% with his first time maiden claimers. 3-7
