No. 4 Midnight Man gets a drop in class in this his second off the layoff. No. 5 Player’s Charm has had his chances but fits with these. 2-4-5

No. 3 Winninginfashion is the speed, she gets off the grass and gets a needed drop in class. No. 4 Wildly Excessive ran second here one race back and Iggy will be trying. No. 6 Flyin for a Livin wins this if she can run to her July race at Del Mar. 3-4-6

Race 4

Maiden 2yo $30k fillies go 5-1/2 furlongs. Cheryl Charlton will have No. 4 One Bye Two flying on the front end playing catch me if you can. Her stablemate No. 5 Swiss Rosalee will fall into a good stalking position and try and run her down. No. 9 Be a Lady is a live first time starter out of the barn of Peter Eurton.

No. 2 Gold Journey and No. 8 Beyond Lucky both exit the same $16k race and drop to this 8k claimer, its looks like one of them for the win. 2-8

Race 6

Tamma Corp paid $200k for No. 1 Magic Moon but he just did not pan out and now they are gelding him and drop him and send him a flat mile. Mike Smith gets on No. 2 Big Discovery who comes off a big try in his first on the dirt last out. No. 3 Dylan Ward has run nine times all on the grass, if he takes to the dirt he can get the win. No. 7 Silver Spirit showed a new style last out when switched to the dirt as he showed early speed. 1-2-3-7

No. 2 Pay the Fine will get the perfect pace up front, he will sit and pounce turning for home. We will be singling in the picks. 2

THE $75K E.B. JOHNSTON

They go a flat mile in the E. B. Johnston. No. 1 Soi Phet won the Los Alamitos Mile here last year along with the mile Bertrando. No. 4 Ambitious Brew finished second in this year’s addition of the Bertrando. No. 8 Motown Men looks right there if able to handle the course. 1-4-8

Maiden fillies and mares go 6 furlongs to end the day. No. 4 Moonie is in good form and comes off a nice second last out at Del Mar and finished second in her one try here. Trainer Doug O’Neill claimed No. 5 Cape’s Rockette for $50k last August at Del Mar. She went on the sidelines for a year but has come back to work like she is ready to roll. Peter Miller claimed No. 6 Blue Cilantro for $20k here back in July. He moved her up to $50k at Del Mar and now puts her in this straight maiden race. No. 7 Slew’s Charm likes to run second and is a must use in the back in the exotics. 4-5-6-7
