No. 6 Stormy Angel exits our HTW list off a big try first out of the box, she gets a little move up in class but can do. 3-6

Bob Baffert has totally given up on his wife’s 3yo filly No. 3 Flat Footed Mama as he drops her trying to get the win and the dump. No. 5 Wild Street Party is perfectly spotted off the good maiden breaker first out. 3-5

Race 3

Maiden 2yo fillies go down the hill. No. 3 Cheekaboo is bred for the trip being by Unusual Heat. No. 9 Active Runner gets a good post in this her second start and Baffert puts his go to jock on board. No. 11 Sutton’s Smile ran huge going a mile on the grass and will love this course, she gets Bejarano today and is the filly to beat. 3-9-11****

Race 4

Maiden 2yo go a mile on the dirt. No. 3 Nightly News exits our HTW list off a great first effort going this mile distance, beat him to cash. No. 4 Rideo has been going long on the grass and now will try the dirt in this his third start, Gary Stevens gets the call. No. 7 Arabian Leopard also exits our HTW list and is the stablemate of the Nightly News, he was sent off at .60 cents on the dollar first out but had some early trouble, we will give him another shot. 3-4-7

$30k maiden 2yo go 6 furlongs, Nakatani gets back on No. 6 Small Town Shuffle who gets a drop in class. No. 7 Superside is the only first time starter in the group and a must use. No. 8 Too Much Chatter looks to be sitting on a big effort today. 6-7-8

THE GRADE III $100K EDDIE D

The go down the hill in the Eddie D, No. 3 Midnight Storm gets back on the grass after facing some top notch runners in his last start the likes of Beholder. No. 7 Toowindytohaulrox had hit the board in all four of his starts down the hill and is in top form. Hall of Fame trainer Ron McAnnaly don’t win many nowadays but does send out a live runner in No. 10 Safety Belt who won here last year down the hill, he has been in steady work mood on the grass. 3-7-10

Race 7

No. 2 Got Even is the speed in this mile dirt race, he will be playing catch me if you can. No. 5 Tried and True gets off the grass and will fall into a good stalking position. No. 6 Skip Tony just ran right behind Got Even and will try and turn the tables today from off the pace. No. 9 Chief of Staff is the stablemate of Got Even and comes into this off a huge win. 2-5-6-9

Race 8

THE GRADE I $300K SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIP

No. 2 Masochistic has big early speed and has won 3 of 4 here and 6 of 9 lifetime but he will find some other big early speed in here and that will compromise his chances. No. 6 Wild Dude won the Grade I Bing Crosby from off the pace and will get the perfect setup again today as will No. 8 Gimme Da Lute who is looking for his 5th straight win. 6-8

Race 9

The go a mile on the grass in the $70k Swingtime, No. 2 Journey On exits our HTW list off a troubled trip last out, look for her to be running big today. No. 5 Alexis Tangier has been facing better and she gets Stevens today. No. 12 Customer Base is stuck on the far outside but will also appreciate the lesser company today. 2-5-12

Race 10

$50k 3yo claimers go 6 furlongs, the only bad effort by No. 10 Wildcat Sailor was on the synthetic surface, he likes this dirt track and will get the perfect trip. No. 13 Great Lou has won 4 of his 5 starts here with a third. 10-13

GOLDEN GATE

Race 1

No. 1 Grumpy Small Mouth is on a win every other race pattern and this is his win race. No. 4 Preacher’s Bluff loves this course and is looking for the hat trick today. No. 7 Hope ’n Pray looks the speed with Baze getting the call. 1-4-7

Race 2

No. 1 Cheese did not like the grass last out and will be back on her game today with the move back to the main. No. 8 Good Stats has won 3 of 4 here and we would say those are good stats. 1-8

Race 3

In this 1-1/16 race on the grass, No. 3 Tight Lines gets back on the green and back to the Gate where she broke her maiden on the grass. No. 5 Seattle Firm is a two time winner on this grass course. 3-5

Race 4

No. 2 Lucky Tomorrow drops looking for the win, he will be odds on. No. 6 Pick by the Box will be the price play. 2-6

Race 5

They go sprinting 5 furlongs on the grass, No. 3 Forever a Fan gets a turn back in distance and the one time she ran on this 5 furlong course she missed by a neck. No. 5 Ninnavee is a win machine and owns a win on this course, she will be trying to hold off Forever a Fan late. 3-5

No. 1 Distinguished Miss comes here from Emerald Downs in top form and Julien Couton who was on him there for her last two wins rides again today. We like her chances to make it three wins in a row.

They go a flat mile on the grass, No. 3 Lucky Views looks perfectly spotted for the win with the move back to the grass by Andy Mathis in this his second start off the claim. No. 4 Willing to Travel comes off the layoff for Hollendorfer and was facing much better before going on the shelf. 3-4

We will use three that are coming out of the same race: No. 1 Slickrock who finished a good 3rd, No. 3 Justfoe Gitit who was 5th but has a nice work since and No. 6 King’s to You who also has a good work since. 1-3-5

Race 9

$20k maidens go a mile on the grass, No. 7 Pacific Channel is in from Del Mar, he has not run a step in his four starts but the move here and drop in class will make him look much better today. No. 10 Shanty Irish also comes to town from Del Mar and he gets the main man to ride for Andy Mathis. 7-10
