KEENELAND BREEDERS’ CUP RACES DAY 2

Race 3

BC JUVENILE

First we have the West Coast wonder No. 10 Songbird who has won all three of her starts in wire-to-wire fashion beating No. 1 Land Over Sea the last two. Land Over Sea will try and get to Songbird today and the price is right. No. 2 Tap to It will try and turn the tables on No. 9 Rachel’s Valentina who has looked good winning both of her starts. 1-2-9-10

Race 4

BC TURF SPRINT

Wesley Ward won with No. 3 Undrafted at Ascot when Dettori rode him and Frank is back on today. No. 5 Lady Shipman is a 3yo filly in here hooking up with the boys. She has won 7 of 8 on the grass sprinting this distance and just could be this good but we will not take a short price. No. 1 Pure Sensation (6-1) with JR, No. 7 Green Mask (15-1) another Ward this one with Rosario and No. 10 The Great War also a Ward runner. 3**-1-5-7-10

Race 5

BC FILLY AND MARE SPRINT 7 FURLONGS

No. 10 Kiss to Remember (30-1) will get a very fast pace to make her last run, she could pop at a big price. No. 14 Cavorting is the filly to beat, she is in great form. No. 2 Dame Dorothy has won 4 of 5 at this distance vs. top company and No. 11 Judy the Beauty won this race last year. 10-14/ 2-11

Race 6

BC FILLY AND MARE TURF AT 1-3/16

The Euros will be very hard to beat especially with all the rain and the soft grass. No. 3 Legatissimo is very classy and looks the one to beat. No. 9 Miss France is in from France for Ander Fabre and at (6-1) we will be keying first and second using No. 1 Hard Not to Like, No. 2 Sentiero Italia, No. 8 Dacita, No. 11 Stephanie’s Kitten and No. 12 Secret Gesture. 3-9 in a tri with 1-2-8-11-12

Race 7

BC SPRINT

If No. 5 Runhappy and No. 13 Private Zone get into a heated battle either No. 2 Kobe’s Back or No. 10 Salutos Amigos can run them down. We will key on the 2-10 with 5-13 and in the back spots in the dime supers and .50 cent tri’s No. 7 Holy Boss and No. 8 Wild Dude. 2-10 with 5-13 with 7-8

Win and place 10

Race 8

BC TURF MILE

Another race that will most likely be won by a Euro and the best two look to be No. 3 Make Believe another Fabre classy runner and No. 9 Esoterique the stablemate of Make Believe, we will use both as key runners in the late pick four and the one dollar pick six. Underneath is wide open. 3-9

Race 9

THE BC JUVENILE

There are two ways to go here first of all No. 7 Brody’s Cause just beat No. 9 Exaggerator in the slop. The connections of Exaggerator won this race last year with Texas Red. No. 12 Swipe (15-1) will try once again to run down the undefeated No. 13 Nyquist, we think he has a shot. 7-9-12-13

Race 10

THE BC TURF

This will be a lot of bettors single race as the even money shot and monster 3yo colt and winner of the Arc de Triomphe No. 1 Golden Horn will be one tough animal to beat. No. 7 Big Blue Kitten never puts in a bad race and will be making his usual late run with the dependable Joe Bravo in the irons. No. 4 Slumber just ran 3/4 of a length behind the Big Blue Kitten and No. 9 Found ran second behind Golden Horn three races back. No. 10 The Pizza Man had a good prep for this. 1**-7 with 4-9-10

Race 11

THE BC CLASSIC

No. 4 American Pharoah will try to end his remarkable career with a BC classic win and he will be very hard to best, The ones with the best shot are the very consistent No. 1 Tonalist who seems to only win at Belmont Park, No. 5 Gleneagles (20-1) for Aidan O’Brien who gets first time Lasix, No. 9 Honor Code who will be rolling down the lane late picking up all the pieces.
