If this turf course is playing to closers than No. 3 Barbara Beatrice will have a big shot from behind. No. 5 West Coast Storm may have a pace advantage in here, her one start on the grass was very good. No. 6 Wild Bella just ran behind West Coast Storm. 3-5-6

No. 1 Ultimate Luck drops into a live spot. No. 3 Sunrise Legacy gets Maldo who will be trying to gun from the bell. No. 4 Dress Code gets a turn back in distance and will be making a late run. 1-3-4

2yo maiden fillies go a mile on the grass, the new kid in town Brian Pedroza who is riding for Tom Proctor gets on his filly No. 4 Deeds Not Words. No. 7 Mokat gets her second start and just may like going long on the green. No. 8 Award It gets back on the grass and ran ok here going a mile on the grass back in September. 4-7-8

Race 6

$20k maiden fillies and mares go 6 furlongs, No. 3 Aparri came off the layoff in her last start and went off the chalk but could only finish 3rd, she will be a much tighter filly today. No. 4 Daphne’s Day comes off the layoff and moves in with maiden claimers for the first time. No. 6 Sisters Home is the only first time starter in this very soft field. No. 9 Motutapu ran ok in her one and only start. 3-4-6-9

THE $75K LET IT RIDE GOING A MILE ON THE GRASS

No. 2 Crittenden gets some big class relief after meeting Grade I and Grade II company. No. 4 Daddy D T won the Oak Tree Juvenile here on the grass at a mile. No. 5 Fueled by Bourbon gets his first start off the $50k Peter Miller claim, he could be dangerous on the stretchout. 2-4-5

Race 8

No. 1 Finest City gets back on the dirt and is the one to beat if Nakatani doesn’t get itchy down on the inside. No. 5 Pleasant as Pie broke her maiden here by more than six lengths. 1-5

Race 9

This is an extension of the fifth race as we get more 2yo maiden fillies going a mile on the grass. No. 1 Aguacate is back with maidens after trying some tough girls in the $100k Surfer Girl. No. 2 Two Steps of Glory ran good going down the hill and looks ready to stretchout. No. 3 Sheeza Milky Way is back with maidens after trying Grade I company but she did run good in the Juvi Turf here back in September.

Trainer Bill Morey has two runners in here, No. 1 Headin’ to Hap’s off a troubled last start and No. 2 Kid Green on the drop down, the hot riding David Lopez who was on the Kid move to Hap. 1-2

No. 2 Willing to Travel was gaining on the winner after a six wide last run in his first start on the circuit last out. David Lopez gets on No. 3 Lucky Views who had trouble in his one start here. No. 6 Time Jumper has won 2 of his 4 turf starts here and Hernandez has two wins and a second from his three rides on this gelding. 2-3-6

Maiden 2yo fillies go 6 furlongs for a price tag of $12,500. No. 3 Chugabug is in from the Fresno via Emerald Downs, she will like it here. No. 6 There for You is in from Santa Anita and gets the big drop in class. No. 7 Lucky K J gets off the grass, drops and gets back to a sprint, she is spotted for action. 3-6-7

2yo maidens go a mile on the grass. Peter Miller ships in No. 2 Last One Standing and he gets Lopez. Simon Callaghan brings in No. 5 William Crotty who will be out winging it on the front end. No. 6 Arch of Honor is a first time starter bred in the purple of the grass. No. 8 Drouillard ran a solid second her in his one grass start. 2-5-6-8

Race 5

Maiden 2yo go 6 furlongs, Jerry Hollendorfer sends out the very live first time starter No. 5 Allaboutaction, that last 6 furlong work says he is on go. No. 7 King’s to You ran a good second last out and has some good works since. After those two this race is wide open. 5-7

Race 6

$20k maiden fillies and mares go 1-1/16 on the grass. No. 6 Forbidden Command has run two good races at this $20k price tag on the grass, she is the key player in here. 6

Race 7

No. 1 Comanche Ruler comes off a nice win at Santa Anita and will be the speed. No. 5 Tribal Dude gets his second start here and first off the Morey claim, he will fall into a nice stalking trip and pounce down the lane. No. 7 Matty’s Tribal could key a Tribal exacta. 1-5-7

Race 8

Maidens go a mile on the grass, No. 6 Junior G Man has been facing stronger and looks to have found a good spot, the same can be said about No. 8 Lamaan. 6-8

Race 9

No. 4 He’s a Real Keeper ships in from Santa Anita looking for his proper level. The dangerous trainer Quinn Howey sends out No. 9 Bob Is Back who could pop at a big price. No. 10 Bertrane drops and is the one to beat. 10**-4-9
