No. 4 With a Twist won here on the grass back in August. No. 5 Thundering Gale gets her first start off the Richard Baltas claim, he sends her long again and that is the trip she wants. 4-5

Race 3

We get $50k 2yo maiden statebreds going 6-1/2 furlongs on the dirt and this is very wide open. No. 6 Mike’s Benchmark ran good at Santa Anita in his first start when finished a closing second going 5-1/2 furlongs after a slow start, he is our play and after that you could hit the all button or watch the betting. 6

Race 4

No. 2 Somethings Unusual is always there but his 2 for 24 win record makes us use him in the back when playing exotics. No. 6 Fritz Johansen is on a win every other race pattern and he will be our play. 6**-2

Race 5

No. 1 Antinanco gets Bejarano today and is the speed on the rail. No. 8 Celebrity Status drops in class and will also be part of the early pace. No. 10 Dive Down will sit off the pace and make one run turning for home. 1-8-10

Race 6

No. 1 Causeway Carolyn is in good form and on a win every other race pattern and this is her win race and that last work says she is on go. No. 5 Glory comes off a good win down the hill in her first try on the grass and this Tapit filly will love going long. No. 7 Spirit of Ten is a perfect 2 for 2 on the Del Mar grass.

No. 2 Prime Issue had his prep race for this and loves this track. No. 5 All Run exits our HTW list as does No. 8 Melatonin, we will play an exacta box. 2-5-8

It is fitting that we have the Kathryn Crosby for this the Bing Crosby meet, he would have been very happy to say the least. No. 5 Beat of The Drum got the win last out at Santa Anita when Kent D got on board and he will ride again today. No. 2 Three Hearts comes off the layoff for Neil Drysdale but this 5yo mare had been running against some tough cookies. 2-5

Race 9

We always say that when Kent misses happy hour and rides the last race we must use and he gets on first time starter No. 9 Blue Copper. No. 11 Palamon and No. 12 Unbridled Rocket will both find a very fast early pace to set up their late runs. 9-11-12

GOLDEN GATE

Race 1

No. 1 Annie’s Pleasures drops looking for his correct level. No. 5 Slew’s Arch exits a tough heat and also drops looking for the winners circle. 1-5

Race 2

No. 2 Duke of Doom is an old pro, he exits a solid second last out and the horse that beat him came right back to score next out. No. 5 Siberian Laughter also exits the race. 2-5

Race 3

No. 2 Night Train Lane is very tough at this level and tough if able to clear. No. 5 Sir Gawain will be the price play in here. 2-5

Race 4

No. 3 Inner City looks to have found a field he can beat. No. 4 Onemoreatwilsons has finished second in his last two starts, his win came here at the Gate. 3-4

Race 5

We get maiden $20k 2yo going a mile on the grass. No. 2 Opening Roads is in from Santa Anita and will be meeting much easier. No. 3 Wild Atlantic Way lost by a nostril one race back at this mile turf distance when facing $30k maidens. No. 4 Excite Me will be the price play out of the hot Wong barn. 2-3-4

Race 6

No. 3 Local Reason gets a huge drop in class, all is not well but he can beat these if half ok. No. 7 Owner’s Choice is in from Emerald Downs and is the one to beat. 3-7

Race 7

2yo go in the $50k Golden Nugget, No. 2 Gold Rush Dancer comes off a big win at Emerald gong a mile in a $65k race, he gets a turn back in distance and is the one to beat. No. 5 Marqula has a huge shot if able to sit chilly right off the hot pace and get the jump on the Gold Rush Dancer. 2-5

Race 8

No. 5 The Tom Squad could pop here at a price. No. 6 Luckarack at one time would have crushed this group. No. 7 Loop Current Eddie will be out winging it on the front end. 5-6-7

Race 9

No. 1 Precious Time gets off the grass and back on the synthetic surface where she is 1 for 1. No. 4 Sadie Clare is the stablemate of Precious Time, she is in from Santa Anita and will go better at this level. 1-4
