Race 1
2-year-old maiden fillies go five furlongs on the grass. First-time starter No. 3 Investment Grade gets the hot- riding Humberto Rispoli for her debut race. No. 5 Maxim Strider owns a big five-furlong work on August 10 and two more works after for her first start. We like the turf breeding on No. 9 Esperer. 3-5-9
Race 2
Maiden fillies and mares travel a flat mile. No. 6 Overwhelming Love is in from Golden Gate for a sharp outfit and makes the turf-to-dirt move. No. 1 Our First Kiss looks part of the mix. 6-1
Race 3
$32K claimers travel 1 1/16 miles on the grass. It looks like go time for No. 5 Go Time on the stretch out with jockey Flavien Prat riding for trainer Peter Miller. No. 7 He’s Like Violence will be very tough in this his second start off the layoff. 5-7
Race 4
$25K claimers travel a flat mile. No. 3 Zorich gets the needed drop in class looking for the win. No. 1 Big Hoof Dynamite also drops into a live spot. 3-1
Race 5
$50K maidens travel 1 1/16 miles on the grass. No. 4 Spanish Count comes back off the layoff as a gelding and had a real nice last work for this race. No. 6 K P D Day looks set for his best in this his second start and he will like the longer trip today. No. 9 Juror takes the blinkers off in this his second start for trainer Richard Baltas. 6**-9-4
Race 6
$50K optional 2-year-old fillies go six furlongs. No. 1 September Secret is back where she belongs after trying Grade 2 company last out. No. 3 Exchange Vows exits the same race as September Secret. 1-3
Race 7
2-year-old maiden fillies go five furlongs on the grass. No. 3 Brilliant Cut exits a better-than-looked effort and will like sprinting on the grass. No. 4 Pizzazz owns big grass breeding and gets Mike Smith riding for her debut. 3-4
Race 8
The $75K Tranquility Lake at flat mile for fillies and mares. No. 2 Hang a Star exits a Grade 1 and will find these much easier. No. 4 Proud Emma had the perfect prep race for this. 4-2
Race 9
$50K maiden fillies and mares travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 8 Journal Entry has had her chances but none as easy as this. Look for her to sit and pounce down the lane. No. 11 Constantia comes off a third-place finish at this level and distance and now gets the good turf rider Umberto Rispoli riding for trainer John Sadler. 8-11
