Saber’s Santa Anita analysis for Friday

Race 1

$62,500 optional fillies and mares go 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf. No. 4 Holly Hundy gets her second start off the layoff and can pop at a fair price even with jockey Humberto Rispoli riding. No. 5 Mischiffie won on this grass course back in June. Jockey Luis Saez comes west and jumps on No. 6 Lucky Peridot for trainer Peter Miller. 4-5-6

Race 2

$40K 3-year-old fillies go six furlongs. No. 5 Dehydration will be out winging once again on the front end as she will try to hold off No. 3 High on Gin who ran her down the last time they met. 3-5

Race 3

$40K claimers go 5 1/2 furlongs on the grass. No. 2 Blackout’s last win came on this course as was No. 7 Ultimate Bango’s. No. 9 Seven Scents also owns a win over this 5 1/2-furlong turf course. 2-7-9

Race 4

$50K 3-year-olds travel a flat mile. No. 2 Bronn gets off the grass and will be the speed on the drop to this level. No. 4 Polar Wind will be making a big late run. 2-4

Race 5

California bred maiden fillies and mares go 5 1/2 furlongs on the grass. No. 4 Bella Chica owns some solid efforts on this grass course. No. 5 Envy is in from Golden Gate and had a big last work here on the 18th. No. 9 Cassie Belle gets a big jockey upgrade to Flavien Prat. 4-5-9

Race 6

The $100K Grade 3 Chillingworth at 6 1/2 furlongs for fillies and mares. This looks like a two-horse race between the two Bob Baffert runners: No. 1 Message with jockey Flavien Prat riding and No. 2 Qahira with jockey Luis Saez in the irons. 2-1

Race 7

The $200K Grade 2 Eddie D at 5 1/2 furlongs on the grass. No. 1 Wildman Jack won the Grade 3 Daytona on this grass course. No. 7 Big Runner has won 3 of his 4 races on this turf course. No. 4 Grit and Curiosity is the mystery runner and a must use. 1-7-4

Race 8

$25K claimers go six furlongs. We will take our shot here and single No. 1 Nesbitt who makes his second start off the layoff. He looks set for a winning effort. 1***

Race 9

$40K optional fillies and mares travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 1 Gypsy Spirit comes off back-to-back good efforts. No. 5 Unicorn likes it here as she has hit the board in all five of her turf races. No. 7 Aunt Lubie exits the same race as Gypsy Spirit. 1-5-7

Race 10

$20K maiden fillies and mares go six furlongs. No. 6 Miss Georgia Gal looks live off the layoff. No. 7 Enriched by Deb woke up in her last race. No. 13 Into Victory gets her second start off the Bob Hess Jr claim. 6-7-13
