Race 1

This is one very bad card with small fields, if you feel like a picnic that is what I suggest. In this $50k maiden claimer for fillies and mares and doubt that any of the five runners in here are worth $50k. No. 2 Runningwiththelute drops out of straight maiden races and does have some good early speed. No. 4 She’s a Given is a first time starter for trainer Lin Melton who won with her only other runner at the meet, Tyler gets the call. 2-4

Race 2

Yet another five horse field before scratches. No. 1 Astuzia has been doing nothing but routing but may find a very fast early pace to pick up some pieces late. No. 2 Lady Vivien comes off a win going a mile and she gets her first start off the claim, Kent D sticks and that is a good sign. 1-2

Race 3

This $20k maiden claimer is very wide open and will offer at least some betting value. We will need to go four deep using No. 2 Dark Timbers a 6yo gelding who has lost 21 times, now does that signal how bad these are? No. 3 Marv comes off the layoff, before he went on the shelf back in December he had run second three straight times, he usually puts in a good effort. No. 4 Quick Timber could set off a timber timber exacta, this is the only first time starter in the race and could pop at boxcars. No. 6 Royal Stack comes off a long layoff but trainer Peter Miller can bring them back ready. 2-3-4-6

Race 4

Another bad maiden race, in here we get $30k maiden 3yo fillies going 5-1/2 furlongs. We will side with two comebackers: No. 6 Dark Cloud Lady who ran a good race in her one and only last year on the dirt and No. 7 Bold Decision who was last seen running up the track with straight maidens at Del Mar last September. She has been firing some bullet works at Santa Anita. 6-7

3rd 2-3-4-6

4th 6-7

Race 5

We get a $50k maiden claimer for 2yo fillies and once again we will need to go four deep using No. 3 Wacky Miss who gets back with statebreds, No. 4 Feisty Swiss a first time starter who gets Tyler gunning form the bell, No. 6 Don’t Tell Abbey a second time starter and the stablemate of Feisty Swiss and No. 8 Wackett the stablemate of Wacky Miss. 3-4-6-8

Race 6

In this $12,500 claimer for fillies and mares we will once again need to go four deep using No. 1 Versye who is the speed on the rail with Elvis getting the call, No. 5 Bodie Girl who also had some good early speed, No. 7 Musical Arts who will sit back and make one run down the lane and No. 8 Tribal Yodeler who may be the speed of the speed, we think the race will set up perfectly for Musical Arts. 1-5-7**-8

Key exacta and tri 7 with 1-5-8

Win and place 7

Race 7

No. 2 Tenkiller Kid won in a dead heat last out when exiting or HTW list, he has a good shot right back. No. 3 Goyan finished a 1/2 length behind the Kid and will get the jump on them turning for home in this mile race. No. 4 Crusher will sit and try and run down Goyan. 2-3-4

Exacta box 2-3-4

Race 8

In the last leg of the late pick four we will take out shot and single No. 10 Senator Bob with Tiago Pereira riding, he will get a perfect stalking trip.

Pick four

6th 7

7th 2-3-4

8th 10
