No. 3 Zilber is in from Brazil for trainer papa Mandella how put a real nice 1:24.2 7 furlong work into this 5yo mare, she is a runner. No. 4 My Happy Face comes off the layoff for Peter Miller who looks to be loaded for bear this meet. No. 5 Biorhythm looks the speed of the speed. 3-4-5

No. 2 Super Reagan gets off the grass and drops to his original claimed price, he ran his best race at Hollywood Park on the synthetic surface and may like going this mile distance. No. 8 Aftermarketslam is the stablemate of Raegan and he gets his first start off the Peter Miller claim. No. 9 Golden Chalice has been going long and now gets the big drop in class. 2-8-9

In this 1-1/16 turf route on the new Del Mar turf course we really don’t know what to expect so we will go four deep. No. 2 Layton Register is in from Arlington Park and is a deep closer, he looks fit and ready. No. 1 Airfoil is in top form and ran ok in his one turf try. No. 7 Kokaltash is in from France where he showed some ability and No. 10 Jules Journey will be sitting in a good spot turning for home with Mike Smith getting the call. 1-2-7-10

Maiden 2yo sprinting 5 furlongs, trainer Carla Gaines who always gears up for Del Mar sends out first time starter No. 1 Quiet Thunder and her got to rider is on board, this colt has a sharp 5 furlong work. No. 7 Pulmarack is a Jerry Hollendorfer first time starter who is out of the dam Tamarack Bay (Dehere) who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters and three of those winners won stakes races, Bejarano gets the call. 1-7

No. 5 Sir Macho gets his first start off the Bill Spawr claim and he puts Mike Smith in the irons. No. 7 No Barneys will be sent early by Maldo as he will try and take them gate-to-wire. 1-3-5-7

Race 8

No. 1 Argyle Cut exits our HTW list off a near miss last out at Santa Anita going this mile turf distance, this ridgling has never been worse than second in her five grass starts. No. 5 Patriots Rule just missed in his last two starts, he will be flying down the lane with a late run. Mike Smith gets on No. 9 Enterprising for Tom Proctor, Gary Stevens who usually rides this colt is out getting a new knee, this is the one to beat in the Oceanside. 1-5-9

Race 9

There is a ton of early speed lined up for this 6 furlong sprint so we will go with a few from off the pace. No. 2 Sheer Talent drops and will get a good sitting trip. No. 4 Xuang Feng has early speed but will sit just off the hot pace today. No. 8 Magic Beam loves this course with 3 wins from 7 starts, he will be making a late run along with No. 11 Insideontheoutside. 2-4-8-11

Race 10

In this 1-1/16 turf route No. 1 Persuasive Paul may find himself on a lone lead and cold get very brave. No. 8 Affrettando gets Bejarano back in the irons and the two times he was on this gelding he finished 3rd by3/4 of a length and 2nd by a neck. No. 9 Godard will be flying late picking up the pieces. 1-8-9
