This is a must watch the betting race. 2-5

Race 2

This $32k claimer for 3yo fillies is one wide open affair. No. 4 Two Step Flor is in from Arlington Park and just may like this course, Kent D gets the call. No. 6 Adellusion is also in from Arlington Park and is proven on synthetic surface. Bejarano gets on No. 8 Pay the Debt, she will get the perfect stalking trip from her outside post. 4-6-8

Race 3

Eleven runners are signed on to travel 1-1/16 on this new turf course. No. 3 Toowindytohaulrox gets his second start off the layoff and has a bullet work here on the 13th, he is ready to fire a big shot. No. 4 Awesome Return is in top form looking for his third straight win on the grass. 3-4

Race 4

No. 2 Mavericks Gun gets his second start off the Doug O’Neill claim and he drops back to his claimed price where he just did miss by a nostril. Trainer Peter Miller is very good when bringing a runner in from Sunland Park and he sends out No. 5 Aspirational who looks live. Trainer D’Amato puts blinkers on No. 6 Green Tag, he has a good last work and the drop will help his chances. 2-5-6

Race 5

This is an extension of the first race as we get maiden 2yo going 5 furlongs. No. 1 Inexcess Time is an Indian Charlie colt out of the dam My Time Now who has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters. No. 3 Verraco is a first time starter by the good sire Old Fashion, he has been in steady work mood and is live for trainer Mullins. No. 8 Discreet Prince is a first time starter out of the dam Gowestforgold who has dropped 5 winners from 5 starters and he gets the hustling Fernando Perez in the irons. Bob Baffert sends out the $700k purchase No. 9 Bollywood for one of his top owners. 1-3-8-9

Race 6

Jockey Van Dyke gets on No. 1 Premier Steps for his buddy Tom Proctor who discovered the kid, she finds class relief in this 1-1/16 turf route. No. 4 Dancingtothestars is very consistent, she will fall into a good stalking position and she likes the seaside air as she won here last year. Bejarano gets on the world traveler No. 5 Beatrice who was last seen winning a stakes race in Istanbul, Turkey. 1-4-5

Race 7

3yo and up maidens going 6 furlongs. Baffert sends out two first time starters, his go to rider gets on No. 7 Turnover who has a work over the track. Van Dyke gets on the Tom Proctor second time starter No. 8 He’s a Bling who showed good early speed when finishing second in his one and only at Churchill Downs on the Mud. Mike Smith and Hollendorfer hook up with comebacker No. 9 Southern Freedom who ran three times here last year losing his last two at odds on both times finishing second. 7-8-9

Race 8

Baffert brings back the highly thought of No. 2 Caminetto from over a year on the shelf, he was getting very good before the setback. No. 5 Holy Lute comes back to his favorite track as he is 2-for-2 here. 


Race 9


No. 4 Diversy Harbor just never runs a bad race and will be right there again. No. 9 Morning Fix didn’t have the best of trips last time out. Mark Casse sends out the very consistent No. 12 My Conquestadory.


Race 10

The last time No. 2 Cardio Royale won here was last year at this mile distance, this one wakes up today at a price. No. 5 Usbek Thunder is another who will offer some real good betting value as he gets his first taste of the synthetic surface, we like the connections. 2-5

Race 11

This huge day ends with a real toughie as we get maiden fillies and mares going 1 mile on the grass. No. 3 Burning Arch took on Grade III company last out and will likely be the overwhelming chalk in here. No. 10 Bijoux comes off the layoff for Sadler, she was sent off at 9/5 in her one and only start going down the hill last year at Santa Anita and just missed by a half length. No. 12 Star Act has had her chances but Del Mar could be the answer as it sometimes is. 3-10-12

No. 5 Sidepocket Lou is wheeled back in 7 days off the win. No. 7 Buffalo Billy gets the big drop in class. 5-7

Race 5

No. 3 Redstone woke up when put back on the dirt and dropped to this level last time out. No. 7 Perfect Game Cain is a first time starter for trainer Jeff Bonde, he has a sharp last work on the 13th and is out of the dam Smokin Tempo who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters. 3-7

Race 6

No. 1 Good Company gets off the grass and drops to his correct level. 1

Race 7

No. 3 Implicated gets her third start, she showed good early speed in her first two and now will try conventional dirt. No. 8 Livelaughlove gets her third start and second on dirt, she improved last out on the dirt and will be the main danger to Implicated. 3-8

Race 8

No. 1 Papaslilprincess loves the dirt, she won with authority last out at Oaktree at Pleasanton by seven lengths. No. 5 Unusual Way has some early speed and has 3 wins and 4 seconds on conventional dirt. No. 7 Top Kisser has early speed and is the class of the race. 1-5-7

Race 9

No. 4 Mickey Ball will find a fast early pace to make his one run, he could pop at a price. No. 6 Go Mojave Go will sit right off the hot pace. 4-6

Race 10

No. 11 Old Standard is a very sneaky shipper for one very sharp outfit, he is our play. 11
