No. 5 Metaxa also can handle this distance and is proven on the dirt. No. 9 Queen of the Hill looks the one to beat on the big drop down back to her originals claimed price.

Lots of early speed in this mile race. No. 5 Tres Borrachos is a 9yo gelding who gets his second start off the layoff and he may be able to sit. No. 1 I Don’t Care Who is a proven miler who has won 3 of 4 going this distance. 1-5

No. 3 Sun Spots had a bad trip last out and now is wheeled back in just six days by Abrams. He will be the one making a late run at the speed and the price will be big. No. 6 Johns Journey gets off the grass, he sports a bullet work for this and will sit right off the hot pace and get the jump turning for home. 3-6

Race 5

In the last leg of the players pick five No. 5 Sudden Rumor finally got the maiden win last out and now gets back to a flat mile. He will sit behind No. 1 Mysterious Promise and No. 2 Tiznow Or Then both will be winging it on the front end. 1-2-5

In this very tough maiden Baffert sends out the $220k purchase No. 3 Opsec who is out of the dam Kalahari Cat who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters including two stakes winners. That last 5 furlong work has this colt on edge. Trainer Jeff Bonde who can strike with a first time starter sends out No. 9 Radiant Dancer off some very good works, the candy man will have this colt motoring from the bell.

No. 2 Rhodium just missed one race back on the dirt and Van Dyke gets back on. No. 4 Tough Business has come alive since being moved from the grass to the dirt as she has won two straight and now gets her first start off the $25k Eddie Truman claim. No. 7 Appealing Resume comes off a little breather which he she needed. 2-4-7

This Grade II has attracted some real nice 3yo including the once Kentucky Derby early favorite No. 5 Shared Belief who looks to keep his undefeated streak alive. He gets his second start back off the foot injury and gets a new jock in Mike Smith. No. 3 Can the Man was very highly thought of by the Baffert connections as a 2yo but had some problems. He came back strong on June 7th winning the Grade III Affirmed and has a string of bullets since, the main danger. No. 4 Friendswith K Mill will be the one that will be motoring late if the top two hook up in a speed duel. 3-4-5

No. 1 Lucky S. J. has a sharp 5 furling work for her debut. No. 9 Grace Victoria showed big early speed in her one and only, she gets Elvis today and will hold better, the one to catch. 1-9

No. 3 Shadow Ball just missed for this tag last out at the Gate, dirt will be the question and a short price. No. 4 Anytime Magic owns a win on this course and very seldom puts in a bad effort. 3-4

No. 4 Colonel Mustard gets off the grass and gets a needed drop in class and getting back to the dirt will help his chances. No. 7 Coast Guard Rescue has four wins and three have come on dirt. 4-7

Race 6

First time starter No. 1 Colored Crayon has been working here for a long time, this 2yo filly gets the hot riding Baze. Trainer Antonio Diaz won with his only starter here and now sends out first time starter No. 3 Swiss Cocoa who has some very good win early breeding. No. 10 Don’t Needa Reason ran a good second first out of the box when well bet, she will like the longer trip today. 1-3-10

Race 7

Trainer Andy Mathis sends out No. 1 Nobel Kent who moves from the turf to the dirt and Mathis hits at around 47% with this move. No. 7 Graeme Crackerjack missed by a neck last our when exiting our HTW list at 5/1. We will come right back with him second off the claim and the move up in class. 1-7

No. 10 Go to the Alter showed her liking for this first course when crushing her foes here on June 26th. We think she can come right back, we won’t go to the alter but will go to the window for her. 10

Race 9

No. 1 Magic Channel lost at 3/2 last out, he will try dirt for the first time. Trainer Lloyd Mason doesn’t claim many but he sends out No. 2 Broadway Nika out first off the claim, he is very live. No. 6 Tiz Fitting gets a big drop in class, he won here last year and that last work says he is on go. 1-2-6

Race 10

No. 3 Dino War comes off the layoff and a well bet debut, she ran even that day but looks set for a top effort today. No. 4 Behrly Tricky never really got into it last out at 3/2 and now she gets Juan Hernandez.
