Just another short field, Pedroza gets on No. 3 Noble Metal for trainer O’Neill who gives this gelding a much needed drop in class and he also gets his first try on dirt, If No. 5 Bushwacked can run back to his race at Santa Anita back in March he can win this. No. 6 Happy Idea drops off a good second in a very suspicious move, if ok he wins. 3-5-6

No. 2 Seve’s Road is out of a top sire and looks very live first out of the box, No. 5 Two Six Wins showed some good early speed in his first start and now Talamo gets his shot. Maldo will be gunning first-time starter No. 7 Dream Police from the bell, his works suggest he has some speed. 2-5-7

We will side with two comebackers in this statebred 50k maiden claimer, No. 2 Ron’s Boy who ran good with straight maiden last year and No. 6 The Call Me Mr. P who comes back after two years on the shelf, after that hit the all button. 2-6

No. 6 Gracie Ragazza came off the layoff and scored with something left, she exits our HTW list and has the perfect style for this track, No. 8 Genuine Quality is very consistent and now gets her second start off the layoff, second in the states and first on the dirt. 6-8

No. 2 Miss Radiance had her two preps, she will get the perfect trip and a good early position into that first turn, we love this ones chances at a fair price. 2

Baze raps up another riding title and he gets on No. 1 Emerald Green for trainer Bill Morey, this one lost by a neck last out, going long on the grass, no mistakes today. 1

Baze gets on another very live runner in No. 2 Crazy About Him who has won both of her starts here, No. 5 Evasive Charmer gets her third start off the Martin claim and will be very tough to beat from just off the pace. 2-5

Baze jumps on No. 3 Where’s the Proof for trainer Ryan Kenney, look for this gelding to show all of his speed today with the drop to this level. 3

No. 1 Convoy just did miss last out at the Gate, if he can handle the dirt he will be right there, No. 3 North Pacific is a perfect 2 for 2 here. Baze won with the very fast No. 5 Oh Daddy Oh at the Gate last out, he is also proven on dirt. No. 8 Real Conundrum will be flying late. 1-3-5-8

No. 2 Positron gets his second start off the layoff, he ran a nice second last out, No. 4 Vodkatariat ran a good third here on June 21st and now gets a slight drop trying to cash. 2-4

No. 2 Global Magician won at first asking for trainer Peter Miller back in May at the Gate when winning by more than five lengths when sent off at 9/5, No. 6 Forte Feroce is in from Emerald Downs for trainer Jeff Metz and Anne Sanguinetti comes along for the ride, after these two this is wide open. 2-6

No. 1 Impressa Vanessa is in top form and may like it here, No. 2 Chat With Dixie ran a solid second here last out going this 1-1/16 distance. 1-2

No. 3 Morally Bankrupt gets off the grass and drops in class, he also gets his first start on dirt, his only win in the states came at the Gate when Juan Hernandez was aboard and he gets back on today, No. 5 Bixley is on a win every other race pattern and this is his win race as is No. 6 Blackford. 3-5-6
