Race 1

$8k fillies and mares go five furlongs. There will be a speed duel up front in this five furlong sprint and that could set things up for No. 3 Coalinga Hills off the layoff and a horse who has a win over the track and No. 4 Heart’s Passion who will also be flying late down the lane. No. 5 Heart of the Nile gets her second start off the layoff and the bug boy J. C. Diaz, Jr. up on the drop. 3-4-5

Race 2

No. 2 Dunbow Road gets back on the main after sprinting five furlongs on the Del Mar grass last out, she is a perfect fit in here. No. 4 So Gucci exits the same las race. No. 5 Leading Indicator won in her only start here and gets a turnback in distance. 2-4-5

Race 3

No. 1 Colonel Power just missed by a head here on the 8th, she will be looking to take them wire-to-wire. No. 6 Goddess Aphrodite gets off the grass and drops from a straight maiden race, she will like this six furlong distance. No. 8 Sassy Kitty is the stablemate of Goddess and will insure a fast early pace.

Race 4

This 5-1/2 furlong Calif. bred maiden race for fillies and mares, looks like it will be won by a first time starter. Philip D’Amato sends out two live ones in here. No. 1 Love Not War and No. 4 Stick Up. Trainer Jeff Bonde sends out first time starter No. 3 Blackandslvrattack. Of the ones that have run, No. 7 The Last Ruler has good early speed and a good post, she also gets off the grass. 1-3-4-7

Race 5

$16k fillies and mares travel a flat mile. No. 1 Sweet Connie Girl may like it here and gets a good post. No. 4 Magnificent Q T gets off back-to-back turf routes, she won in her only start here back in July. No. 7 Tequila Sunrise drops into a live spot. 1-4-7

Race 6

No. 1 Puriano has won four of his eleven starts, he gets his first start off the claim and is well spotted. No. 6 Tough But Nice is the speed of the speed. 1-6

Race 7

2yo maidens go 5-1/2 furlongs and there are some good looking runners in here making their first start. No. 1 Ragtime Blues cost $500k for Bob Baffert who also sends out No. 4 River Finn, we think one of them will get the cash for the hot Baffert barn. 1**-4

Race 8

No. 7 Raging Whiskey gets some class relief for Doug O’Neill. He was last seen going a mile on the grass in the Del Mar Juvenile Turf and before that running in the Grade 2 Best Pal and the Grade 3 Stanford at Saratoga, Rafael Bejarano will stick for the ride. 7***

Race 9

$30k maiden 2yo go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Danny Aho is a first time starter out of the dam Storm Lamp who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters. No. 10 Absolute Weapon was last seen at Del Mar showing good early speed vs. $50k open company maidens. 1-10

Race 10

$20k maidens travel a flat mile. No. 8 DINESEN gets his second start at this level after running a solid 3rd last out going 1-1/16 at Del Mar. Jockey Martin Garcia who is having a good meet will ride again and this looks like the money run and a solid single in the late picks. 8***
