Race 8

$16k fillies and mares go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Staythirstymyamigo is in good form and a good fit at this level. No. 6 Fracas likes it here and looks the one to beat on the drop back to this level. No. 7 All Tea All Shade just missed here back in July, she drops into a live spot. 6-7-3

Race 9

$50k starter allowance runners go 5-1/2 furlongs. There will be a battle royal up front, thus setting this up for a runner off the hot pace. No. 5 Starring John Wain and No. 8 Channel Crossing both fit the bill. No. 9 Emtech has proven he can battle it out and may survive the hot pace. 5-8-9
