Oaklawn Park

Race 1

$10K claimers travel 1 1/16 miles. No. 4 Kristi’s Copilot drops looking for the win. No. 8 Mesa Sky is in from Turf Paradis and he looks perfectly spotted at this level. No. 9 Gray Sky is another who drops in class searching for the win. 4-8-9

Race 2

Arkansas-bred $20K maidens travel 1 1/16 miles. No. 1 Gotta Love Ike doesn’t look like much but puts the blinkers on and stretches out and will be a big price. No. 11 Hot Iron was well bet last out at this level but just never got into the race. We will give him another chance. 11-1

Race 3

$16K claimers go six furlongs. We like this race and will make a three horse exacta box using No. 1 Feeling It off the big win last out and the double jump in class, No. 2 Zeroed In who has won two races at the meet and now gets his first try off the Kim Puhl claim. No. 9 Swithers Shortcut exits a big key race with three next out winners. 1-2-9 Win and Place 2 Exacta Box 1-2-9

Race 4

Maiden 3-year-old fillies travel 1 1/16 miles. No. 5 Kizzy B is in from the Fairgrounds and in top form. No. 6 Cherokee Maiden has finished second in both of her starts here. No, 9 Sacred Union is the stablemate of Cherokee Maiden and a must use. 5-6-9

Race 5

$12,500 starter allowance runners go six furlongs. We will take our shot in this race and single No. 6 Drenas Star. He has run big in all three of his races here and looks faster than these. We also like the fact he is in this claim proof spot. 6*** Win and Place

Race 6

$50K claimers go six furlongs. No. 3 Special Reserve drops and looks the speed. No. 8 Jack Van Berg just missed by a neck here last out. No. 10 Market King looks right in the mix vs these. 3-8-10

Race 7

Allowance fillies and mares go six furlongs. We will go to the outside in this race using No. 10 Super Wonder Girl off the layoff. No. 11 Georgia Clay off the good second here last out and No. 12 Wishful Quality who exits the same race as Georgia Clay. We like her the best. 12**-11-10

Race 8

$80K optional claimers travel 1 1/16 miles. No. 5 Answer In has run big in all three of his starts, including finishing third in the Grade 3 Southwest Stakes last out. No. 10 Adhhar just broke his maiden and now gets his first try off the $50K Tom Amoss claim. 5**-10

Race 9

Today’s feature, the $100K Purple Martin Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at 6 furlongs drew a field of 10. No. 4 Edgeway looked super breaking her maiden first out of the box when bet down to 9-5. She has worked super since. No. 8 Frank’s Rockette is in from Gulfstream Park where she just won by seven lengths in the $75k Any Limit. 8**-4

Race 10

Maidens travel 1 1/16 miles. No. 4 Aztec Empire gets the blinkers on following a solid third last out, No. 5 Wild Union has hit the board in seven of his eight races. His win spirit is a question mark. No. 12 Ond’Oro was a good second here last out on March 20. 12*-4-5
