Saber’s Santa Anita analysis for Friday

Race 1

Allowance runners travel 1 1/4 miles on the grass. No. 6 Three Ay Em has hit the board in all five of his grass races here at Santa Anita. No. 9 Keystone Field looks the speed of the speed with the bug girl Jessica Pyfer in the irons. 6-9

Race 2

$25K fillies and mares travel a flat mile. No. 3 Noble Contessa is a two-time winner here and had a big last work for this with jockey Joel Rosario in the irons. No. 5 Imperial Creed drops in class and will be motoring late. 3-5

Race 3

Maiden fillies and mares go six furlongs on the grass. No. 5 Translate is in from Belmont where he finished second in three straight grass sprints. No. 8 Irish Aura ran even first out at Del Mar going five furlongs on the grass and will love the extra furlong today. 5-8

Race 4

$12,500 fillies and mares travel a flat mile. No. 1 Eternal Endeavour gets a big jockey upgrade with Flavien Prat up today. No. 7 Just Grace stretches out today for trainer Peter Miller. 1-7

Race 5

This is a rare $50K optional maiden claimer at six furlongs. No. 2 I Got no Munny has a good work pattern for his debut. No. 3 Tiz Vicious drops back to claimed price and is a first-time gelding. No. 6 Midnight Mystery looks the speed on the drop. 2-3-6

Race 6

California-bred maidens go six furlongs. No. 1 Star Racer has been meeting open company at Golden Gate and was well bet in both of his starts. No. 6 The Little H Man exits the same last race as Star Racer. No. 7 Queen’s Code was a nice even third first out at Del Mar when going five furlongs on the grass and will be our key runner in here. No. 8 Scary Fast Smile missed by a half-length last out at this level. 7**-1-6-8

Race 7

The $200K Grade 2 Joe Hernandez at 6 1/2 furlongs on the grass. No. 1 Texas Wedge won this race last year when they went down the hill. He will have no problem with this new layout. No. 4 Hembree is in from Churchill Downs and is the stablemate of Texas Wedge. No. 8 Chaos Theory loves to win races with six wins from thirteen starts. 1**-4-8

Race 8

$50K optional claimers go six furlongs. No. 2 Eel Point is in from Keeneland off a big maiden win. No. 8 Holden the Lute exits our horses to watch list and is wheeled back quick off the win and claim. 8**-2

Race 9

Maiden 3-year-olds go six furlongs on the grass. No. 1 Gregory’s Pride just missed first out at Del Mar when going five furlongs on the grass. He had a big last work for this race on Dec. 26. No. 6 Amanofmystature is in from Woodbine where he ran second in his one grass sprint. No. 8 Rock Your World has a nice work pattern for his debut. 1-6-8
