Race 1 

$50K maiden fillies and mares travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 7 Acoustic Shadow drops from straight maiden races and gets jockey Flavien Prat riding in a go spot. No. 6 Lookin So Lucky exits the same last race as Acoustic Shadow and she could be the speed. 7-6 

Race 2 

20K claimers travel a flat mile. No. 2 Alvaaro is a two-time winner here at Santa Anita and moves up in class off a nice win here on opening day. No. 3 Stackin Silver could be the speed off the layoff. He returns as a gelding on the big class drop. No. 6 Signofthecross will sit chilly off a fast early pace and pounce down the lane. 6-2-3 

Race 3 

California-bred maidens go six furlongs on the grass. No. 4 Luvluv is a first time gelding and jockey Joel Rosario will ride. No. 5 Fat Stacks was a good second first out at Del Mar when going five furlongs on the grass. No. 7 Beaudacious just missed one back on the Golden Gate five-furlong turf course. No. 10 Lil Richards Bello takes the blinkers off and will love this six-furlong grass course today. 10**-5-4-7 

Race 4 

Maiden 3-year-olds go six furlongs. Trainer Bob Baffert sends out the uncoupled entry of No. 4 Concert Tour and No. 5 Hozier who cost $625K. The hot-riding Umberto Rispoli rides first-time starter No. 6 Mr. Impossible who is out of the dam Qaraaba who has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters and two stakes winners. He will be our key runner in here. 6-5-4 

Race 5 

$40K fillies and mares go six furlongs on the turf. No. 3 Posit looks live in this her first start off the $40K claim coming off the layoff. No. 4 Sapphire Kid just may like the move to a grass sprint. No. 2 Mischiffie looks tough here on the drop to this level. 2-3-4 

Race 6 

$20K maiden fillies and mares travel a flat mile. No. 1 Keep Dancing drops from straight maiden races and the blinkers go on. No. 2 Naansense also drops and may take to this mile distance. 1-2 

Race 7 

$100K optional claimer at a flat mile on the grass. No. 5 Ohio is an old pro that still has run and exits a better than looked effort in a Grade 1 last out. No. 6 Sombeyay looks the speed with jockey Flavien Prat riding for trainer Peter Miller. 6-5 

Race 8 

$10K claimers travel 1 1/16 miles. No. 3 Blame It On Kitty will be making his usual late run and just may get there today in this soft field. No. 5 Gryffinder looks the speed of the speed on the drop in class. 3-5
