No. 9 Vantastic has been working big for this. No. 10 Tripoli was a big 3rd last out on the 6 1/2 grass course and will be very tough here. 4**-10-9

Maiden 3-year-olds travel a flat mile. No. 1 Fenway is a first-time starter who cost $650K and he has been working like a monster. No. 2 The Great One and No. 4 Affable are both the main danger. 1***-2-4

Race 3

$50K starter allowance runners travel 1 1/8 miles on the grass. No. 1 Honos Man is in tip top form and just won going this grass distance last out. No. 2 Storm the Bastille just missed at this trip one race back. No. 3 C Falls is the speed and will once again look to go wire to wire. 1-2-3

Race 4

$50K optional 3-year-old fillies travel a flat mile. We will take our shot here and single No. 1 My Princess Ellie who has run back-to-back good mile races and she catches a suspect group. 1***


Race 5

$25K 3-year-old fillies go six furlongs. No. 3 Luxury Liner is going for the hat trick. No. 5 Malibu Mistress will look to turn the tables on Luxury Liner who beat her by a neck one race back. 3-5

Race 6

$40K starter allowance runners travel 1 1/8 miles on the grass. No. 1 Lure Him In just got nosed here on January 1st when traveling 1 1/4 miles on the grass. No. 2 Kiwi’s Dream looks the lone speed. No. 6 Vegas Kitten comes off a nice win here on Jan. 3rd. 1-2-6

Race 7

The $200K Grade 3 Palos Verdes going six furlongs. There looks to be a battle up front and that leads us to No. 1 Pyron who will sit back and make one late run. No. 6 Ax Man may be able to sit off the hot pace on the turn back to a sprint. No. 2 Wildman Jack will sit just off the pace and look to get first jump. 1-6-2

Race 8

Allowance fillies and mares travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 5 Sassyserb just missed last out at this level when traveling 1 1/8 miles on the grass. No. 7 Good On Paper is in from Gulfstream Park and just may Like it here on the West Coast. No. 10 Applecross gets some needed class relief. 5-7-10

Race 9

$30K maiden 3-year-old fillies go 6 1/2 furlongs. No. 5 Best of Show finished third first out and will move forward. No. 8 Smart Lola has dangerous early speed. No. 9 Shanghai Sunrise drops from straight maiden races and the blinkers come off. Her last work says she is on go! 9-8-5
