$40K optional claimers go 5 1/2 furlongs on the grass. No. 5 Ginobili may like this course coming off a good effort on the five-furlong Del Mar grass course. No. 7 Jamming Eddy is in top form. No. 8 Duplicity gets the bug boy Alexis Centeno up for trainer John Sadler. 8-7-5 

Race 2 

$30K maiden 2-year-olds travel a flat mile. No. 3 Freerunning will be out doing just that on the stretch out. No. 2 Foxborough will be sitting right off his flank. 3-2 

Race 3 

$30K maiden 2-year-old fillies travel a flat mile. No. 1 Clubhouse Saint stretches out on the drop in this, her second start. Jockey Flavien Prat jumps on No. 3 Big Moon in what looks to be the money run. 1-3 

Race 4 

The $100K Zuma Beach for 2-year-olds traveling a flat mile on the grass. No. 4 Cotopaxi comes off good effort in the Del Mar Juvenile along with No. 5 Ebeko as they both finished right behind No. 6 Big Fish who won the race. We think it will be a different order of finish today. 5-6-4 

Race 5 

$40K optional claimers travel 1 mile. No. 2 Ekklesia had a big last work for this. No. 3 Nolo Contesto looks the one to beat with the blinkers going on. No. 5 Strongconstitution exits the same race as Nolo Contesto. 3-5-2 

Race 6 

Maiden 2-year-olds travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 3 Harlan Estate had a big effort last out at this level and distance. No. 4 Mount Pelliar finished right behind Harlan Estate as did No. 6 Heliochrome. We say box all three. 3-4-6 

Race 7 

Maidens go 6 1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Defense Wins is the one to beat in this his second start off the layoff. No. 4 Canadian Pride had a big last work. No. 6 Keystone Field and No. 8 Mickelson both exit the same last race as Defense Wins. 1-4-6-8 

Race 8 

The $100K Surfer Girl for 2-year-old fillies traveling a flat mile on the grass. No. 6 Madone is the filly to beat off her big win in the Del Mar Juvenile filly turf last out when getting the best of No. 8 Nimbostratos and No. 9 Conoodling. 6**-8-9 

Race 9 

Maiden 2-year-olds go 5 1/2 furlongs. No. 5 Crossword and No. 10 Found My Ball are both first-time starters that are bred to win early. 5-10 

Race 10 

$50K starter allowance runners travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 8 City Rage just missed last out when facing $50K optional runners when just getting the best of No. 6 Bud Knight. We say 1-2 today. 8***-6**
