Baffert also sends out first time starter No. 5 High Velocity that cost $350k off some good works. 4-5-3

Race 2

Maidens go 5 ½ furlongs on the grass. No. 2 Joeys Ace comes off a good 5 furlong turf sprint at Del Mar, we like Cedillo up today. No. 9 Stable Genius gets his first try sprinting on the grass for Peter Miller who is a master of these turf sprints. No. 10 Awesome Score is a first time starter with a big bullet work. 2-9-10

Race 3

2yo maidens go a flat mile on the main. No. 3 Honor A. P. looks like a router off his closing second last out in his first start. No. 5 Eel Point goes long in his second start for Baffert, he hits at a high percentage with this move. No. 8 Defense Wins has been running in stakes races, he is back where he can win. No. 9 Eddy Forever takes his 3rd start for Baffert, he gets off the grass and Drayden Van Dyke will ride, bet him to cash. 9***-3-5-8

Race 4

$16k cal bred optional fillies and mares travel a mile on the grass. It took No. 5 Nothing But Heat nine races to break her maiden. We think she comes right back with a big race at a price. No. 6 Rose Dunn is the speed on the stretchout. No. 7 Absolutely Perfect also has some speed and has run three straight good turf races, she will like getting back to a mile. 5-6-7

Race 5

$10k fillies and mares travel a mile on the main. No. 1 Majestic Diva and No. 4 Buttie look to own a pace advantage in this mile race. No. 5 Princess Dorian is a three time winner here and the one to beat first off the Andrew Lerner claim. No. 2 Love of Art is in good form. 5-1-2-4

Race 6

Cal bred maiden fillies and mares go 5 ½ furlongs on the grass. No. 2 Stick Up ran a nice even race in her first start on the dirt at Los Al, she gets blinkers on and the grass today. No. 3 Love Not War is her stablemate and exits the same last race and she also ran a nice even race that day. No. 9 Starmore is the stablemate of the top two as it looks like Paul D’Amato really wants to win this race. 2-3-9

Race 7

No. 1 Shedaresthedevil gets off the grass and back sprinting. No. 6 Éclair has been looking for a spot and opts for this one. 1-6

Race 8

$50k starter allowance runners go a mile on the grass. There is a ton of early speed in here so we will go searching for runners who will be making a late run. No. 1 River God can win this if able to run back to his race one back. No. 5 Good Bye Putin comes off a nice closing win when breaking his maiden here back in June. No. 9 Volubile also comes off a nice closing win when breaking his maiden last out at Del Mar. 1-5-9
