It just doesn’t get better in this $62,500 optional claimer for fillies and mares as we get on five going 1/18 on the grass. No. 3 Tiger Dad just missed last out when beating Soldier Boy by 3/4 of a length, missing the win by a dwindling nostril. No. 5 City Rage comes off the layoff for Mark Glatt with some good works. No. 4 Heck Yeah also comes off the layoff and owns two wins here. 3-1-4-5

Race 6 

$62,500 optional fillies and mares go 5 ½ furlongs on the grass. No. 1 MISCHIFFIE just missed one race back at this level going five furlongs on the Del Mar grass. The race prior to that one she won here going this distance on the grass for a $40k optional price tag. No. 4 HOLLY HUNDY exits our HTW list off a tough 3/4 of a length loss last out at this level and distance when in trouble. She will get the win today with a clean trip and will be our play of the day. 4***-1*



Race 7

Calif. bred $50k maiden 3yo fillies go six furlongs. No. 2 La Croix is back in town from the Gate, she just missed at Del Mar for a $50k tag. No. 4 Rstars and Stripes has some good works for her first start and get Rosario up. 2-4
