It is sad but we get a field of five fillies in this $200k race with no shippers. Two of the five fillies will be sent out by Bob Baffert, the well regarded No. 2 Gingham and No. 5 Stellar Sound who gets Mike Smith.
$40k optional 3yo fillies travel seven furlongs. No. 1 Sabinos Pride woke up big time last out when stretched out to a mile, breaking her maiden by twelve lengths. No. 5 Bluegrass Sky has done little wrong in her two starts and will take to the longer trip. No. 3 French Rose will be making a big late run at the speed. 1-5-3

It is nice to see a full field of ten going a mile on the grass. No. 6 River Boyne is one tough 5yo and owns 6 wins from his eleven starts on this grass course. Abel Cedillo will ride today for Jeff Mullins. No. 7 Frontier Market is in from New York and moves from the Chad Brown barn to the John Sadler barn, Prat will ride.
