Race 1

Yes the once great race place is back today for another three day racing week and with its five horse fields starting with this $40k maiden claimer. No. 3 T Bones Trick is in from the Gate and drops from straight maiden races and gets blinkers on and Flavien Prat up for trainer Andy Mathis. No. 4 Tyrannical Rex looks the main danger as he gets his second try at this level and first going long. 3-4

Race 2

We get just another five horse field with $35k fillies and mares going 5-1/2 furlongs on the grass. No. 3 Wishful takes the blinkers off and gets back on the grass. No. 4 Dearborn drops and gets a big jock switch. He will be on or near the lead. 4**-3

Race 3

$50k maiden fillies and mares go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Fresh Face is just that, she is a first time starter for the hot John Sadler barn. No. 5 Malibu Cat drops and gets off the grass. No. 6 Raneem also drops and exits the same last race as the Malibu Cat. 3-5-6

Race 4

We quickly get back to another five horse field as we get $12.500 claimers traveling 1-1/16. No. 2 Gorky Park drops in class and will be right on the tail of the speedy No. 4 Will Dancer, these two could circle the track together. 2-4

Race 5

Maidens travel 1-1/8 on the grass and we just love No. 6 COMMANDING CHIEF in this spot as he gets the hot riding Humberto Rispoli up today for the hot training John Sadler. This colt comes off a big last work and will love the longer trip today as he just missed two races back when going this distance on the grass at Del Mar. We will play him to win and place and make some exacta and trifectas using him first and second with No. 2 On Easy Street who gets his second try on the grass and exits the same races as Commanding Chief. No. 4 Trojan Magic looks the speed and the target today. No. 7 Border Town was the 2-1 favorite versus Commanding Chief last out and looks the main danger. 6***-2-4-7

Race 6

$20k maiden fillies and mares go six furlongs. No. 5 Dorita’s Lemon looks live first out in this lackluster field with No. 6 It’s a Riddle the obvious bet down runner who will be odds on once again. 6-5

Race 7

$50k claimers travel 5-1/2 furlongs on the grass. No. 2 Kazan comes off the layoff for Doug O’Neil and looks very live in this spot with Umberto Rispoli riding. We like the fact that he was claimed for $40k and then ran in an optional $40k race at Del Mar and was claimed from that race but had his claim voided. He took time off and now comes back for a $50k price tag, all must be ok. No. 4 Restless Rambler is the speed and will be tough on the front end. 2-4

Race 8

Calif. bred $50k maidens go 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 5 Seizetheday Rexy comes off a good second last out at this level and distance. No. 6 Perfect Affection drops in from straight maiden races and can only go better today. 5-6
