Race 1 

California bred 2-year-old maidens go 4 1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Eagle in the Sky owns a big last work for his debut race. He is out of the dam Mary Coughlan who has dropped six winners from six starters. No. 3 Bolden has been working like a runner for his debut race and jockey Flavien Prat rides for trainer Peter Miller. No. 5 Rousing Slammer is just another live first time starter. He is out of the dam Royal Grand Slam who has dropped five winners from five starters. 1-3-5 

Race  2 

$40K optional fillies and mares travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 3 Goodtingscominpink comes off a nice maiden win at this distance on the grass. She looks to fit with this crew. No. 5 Sunriser comes off the layoff and a nice maiden win last out. No. 8 Sutro looks set off a good effort here back on May 17th. 3-5-8 

Race 3 

$25K claimers travel a flat mile. No. 2 Rogallo drops and stretches out for trainer John Sadler. Jockey Umberto Rispoli will ride the first time gelding. No. 3 Justin’s Quest gets jockey Flavien Prat back in the irons for trainer Richard Baltas. 2-3 

Race 4 

$35K fillies and mares travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 6 Arctic Roll gets jockey Flavien Prat back in the saddle. The two previous times he rode her resulted in a win and a close second. No. 8 Buyback gets her second try on the grass and the good grass jockey Dryden VanDyke riding. 6-8 

Race 5 

$12,500 claimers go 6 1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Bob’s Sniper drops in class and moves from the grass to dirt. The sizzling hot jockey Abel Cedillo will ride. No. 3 Include the Tax also drops in class and gets off the grass. 1-3 

Race 6 

$40K optional fillies and mares travel 1 1/8 miles on the grass. No. 1 Unicorn has been very consistent and gets the hot riding Abel Cedillo riding for trainer Richard Baltas. No. 3 Kookie Gal missed by a dwindling length here last out going a flat mile on the grass. She will like the longer trip today with jockey Flavien Prat riding for trainer Peter Miller. 3***-1 

Race 7 

$25K maidens travel a flat mile. No. 4 World O Luck drops in class and stretches out. Good trainer Bill Spawr is still looking for his first winner at the meet. He sends out No. 8 Debt Manager off a second here last out. 4-8

Race 8 

$32K claimers travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 1 Tough It Out comes off a good try at this level in his last race. The last time No. 5 Contagion won was at Del Mar last year. Jockey Abel Cedillo was on him that day and will ride him this time around. 1-5
