$50K starter allowance runners travel 1 1/16 on the inner turf course. The hot-training Todd Pletcher sends out No. 3 Mandate off a big win here last out going this turf distance. This 3-year-old colt will take some beating. No. 6 Bray beat Mandate at Belmont Park and now gets his first start off the Rudy Rodriguez $40K claim and jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. will ride. 3**-6

The $85K Union Avenue Handicap at seven furlongs for New York bred fillies and mares. No. 1 Ratajkowski is the speed and comes off a neck win over No. 3 Mrs. Orb at Belmont in a $120K New York bred race. No. 6 Newly Minted won the Fleet Indian here last year. 1-3-6

New York bred fillies and mares travel a flat mile on the inner turf course. No. 3 Vivazano has a ton of upside. She is bred for the grass and will love stretching out to this mile distance. No. 7 Chocolate Cookie has a steady workout pattern on the grass for her debut race. No. 10 Data Analytics ran one time as a 2-year-old and now returns for trainer Chad Brown. No. 11 Sainte Mere Eglise looks set in this her second start off the layoff. 3-7-10-11
